Hi everyone. I have an uncle who been a permanent resident in the U.S (not a citizen). for 15 years. He finally decided that he wants to bring his three son/daughter (the sons are 22 and 21, and the daughter is 15) to the U.S. from the DR. Does anyone have any info, tips, reference on what he has to do? For example, what type of application and the amount of money he has to file, etc? Thanks.

P.S. Whatever type of application he is suppose to file for the three of his relatives, if he has to file for them seperately, can he send all of their applications together? or seperate? and even pay a seperate fee for all of them? Hope its not much to ask. I'll appreciate any answers you can give me, thank you

they each need to file 1-130 form, sons not married over 21 is about 8 years wait depends what country your from,if he gets married then it's much longer.the same with your dauther,if you file for your spouse she will get approval much sooner as your wife.if your uncle becomes a us citizen, he can update the petition by a year or two.the fee for the 1-130 is 420.00 us dollars.i surguest that you read the guides on top of this page , how to bring family members to the us.

The wife and 15 year old will take about 2.5 years, the over 21 year old sons 8 years if they are unmarried, he cannot petition for them if they are married. Start by filing the I-130, bio sheets etc.

Would the man consider naturalising? As a US citizen, his wife and minor daughter would have no waiting period and it would cut the waiting to 7 years for the older kids.
