Get instant messengers on your phones then you can text for free, instantly! :) My fiance has an htc phone and I have a Blackberry so we use Google Talk and message all day, all you have to do is both pay for a data plan. Which will work out cheaper than international texting.

Thank you. yeah, will start doing that this week :) they also have unlimited International Calls in the Philippines through US it will be a great help for our petition as well :)

Can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you..

My husband didn't know how to turn on a computer before he came to the US. So we kept in touch by phone.

USCIS has issues with protecting your data ( we all provide tons of personally identifying information in the paperwork we give them ) They actually are using a newer system ( implement in the last 2 years) but they are dealing will a lot more traffic than just the world of VJ. A lot of what they do is manual and dealing with other data sources that are purposely not interconnected.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I think Skype should be given some kind of humanitarian award for all their help.

 Yes, I absolutely agree. Skype kept me sane many times throughout my K1 journey.

I wish I was as lucky cos even though technology has improved It is hard to find a computer to skype from in Nigeria, unless you are wealthy, and with yahoo messenger on cam you also need a computer. so we just rely on our cell phones to keep us sane.
