Our Interview is December 13 and we are trying to get things together. We have a Physical sheduled for Nov. 18th. Our Lawyer is saying that is all we need but Isn't there more forms and fees to pay. I Hope I don't sound nuts but my lawyer hasn't exactly been a great help.

Can anyone please give me an Idea of what else we need besides the physical, Pictures, Phone bill, E-mails and internet chat logs.

I would hate to have gotten this far and loose out beacause we left something out.

You need to go to the Thai forum and read their accounts. Our embassy is in Canada, and when we go in for the interview, there are forms that are needed-as well as police check, birth certificate, proof of relationship, financial records, etc....And your attorney is wrong-there is a $350 visa fee that has to be paid. Some embassies allow you to pay the visa fee at the time of interview, some make you pay beforehand. I hope this helps-good luck to you both!

The medical will prove to be easy. The paper work is done & handed to her before she leaves.

The only thing I can think of is the actual visa fee. Has that been paid? If not pay it at most Thai post offices. There is one right across the street from the embassy behind the high rise. We forgot & had to run over there & return the reciept to the embassy.

I think you have everything. We didnt have any of the things you are taking & we didnt need them. They felt married was enough! But we had been married two years at that time.

You are going to have no problem. If anything did come up you will have plenty of time to correct it & it wont affect the issue date of the visa unless it was something really bad. That wont happen.

Lawyers generaly help themselves most of the time especially after they are paid.

Yes I think this is complete. Any of this that has been submitted in the past should be with the officer now so no need to duplicate the effort.

Believe me we know how you feel. This journey takes a toll on people. The best thing you can do is realize that you have done very well so far & that is going to pay off soon. This is also hard to accept but it is true.

Its amazing when this part is over & you walk out the embassy door. That will happen soon & you can put away your fears. My husband says its like a Hitchkok movie with no music. So make sure you are carefull in the shower!
