It's almost 6 months, not approved yet.what would be the reasons?help me..

Have you tried calling USCIS what caused the delay? If your application is not yet approved after 5 mos. since NOA-1 you may call USCIS to inquire regarding your case.

Are u done with the interview? Where is your passport and what did they say during the interview?Bcuz i heard that after u had interview and if u got approved u will receive your visa 1 more more weeks it depends on your location...Unless they asked you more documents.

yes I did and they said that they are still processing the march applicants..I am worried when i read other may filers that they were approved already.

case status is still initial review for almost 6 months..why?

That's what they usually answer. I guess that's scripted. But I suggest you talk to a supervisor. They might have missed out your application. Vermont usually approves application nowadays in less than 30 days. In fact a lot of Sept-Oct filers have already been approved. Goodluck!

Yeah 6 months is outside of the 5 months guide line, have your fiance call USCIS to follow up on your case.

thank you. We are so worried why it is so delayed..Its 6 months already. I heard others were approved quickly. It is driving us crazy. My fiance called USCIS many times.

You May want to have your Fiance call his congressional office, they wont be able to speed things up but they may get an answer as to why its been past 6 months.
