FINALLY, everything is prepared and I will be sending our k-1 packet on monday!

I would appreciate a few other sets of eyes to check over my 'cover letter' to be sure im not forgetting anything... :help:

- Payment in the amount of $340

- G-1145, E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

- I-129F

- I-129F Supplement: Q: Part B, Question 18, explanation of meeting in person

- G-325A and passport style photo (Petitioner)

- G-325A Attachment: Q: Employment last five years (Petitioner)

- G-325A and passport style photo (Beneficiary)

- G-325A Attachment: Q: Employment last five years (Beneficiary)

- Petitioner’s Proof of U.S. Citizenship – Copy of Birth Certificate

- Letter certifying intent to marry (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

- Proof of having met in person in the past two years

- Proof of ongoing relationship

- Divorce Decree with English Translation for Beneficiary

Am i missing anything? Does the order of the forms/documents look ok?

*03/28/12 - NOA2 Text/Email (Notice Date 03/27/12)

*04/02/12 - NVC Recieved Package

*04/04/12 - NVC Sent Package to Embassy

*04/17/12 - Embassy emailed Packet 4 to me

*04/21/12 - USPS Interview Binder to Carlos

*04/26/12 - Carlos Medical Exam

*04/27/12 - Carlos receive Interview Binder from me

*05/04/12 - Carlos Interview 8:00 AM (Has to return with two more documents)

*05/14/12 - Carlos return to embassy with missing documents - VISA APPROVED

*05/18/12 - Carlos picks up VISA at Embassy

*05/19/12 - POE MIAMI

About four years ago, I did this the first time, and sent photocopy of divorce decree and there was no RFE, nothing.

07/27/2011...........NOA1 received.

12/05/2011...........RFE received.

12/13/2011...........RFE response sent.

12/16/2011...........RFE RESPONSE received by Vermont S.C.

12/22/2011...........Teased by a text-message from uscis, saying they have received my response to the RFE.

12/30/2011...........LA VISA APROVADOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

01/12/2012...........Case Sent To Bogota Colombia, from the National Visa Center.

02/09/2012...........Schedule Interview.

03/23/2012...........Interview (to take place then)!

04/07/2012...........Arrived in USA.

07/01/2012...........MARRIED!

What next?

.......How the days DO slip away!

I have no idea what makes it different..maybe random thing? lucky for you! :thumbs: for us RFE is not a big deal, just kinda sad because they asking something that they dont specifically asked that in the beginning. waste out time a little bit more than what we expected. BUT an RFE also a good news because then you know they looked at our case.

make sure the divorce decree is not only photocopy but the legal copy (from the judge). my husband (US Petitioner) got RFE because he just sent photocopy.

I didn't get RFE . I used only photocopies of BOTH my divorce decrees ....was approved sept 29 2011

thanks everyone! i've read that the original divorce decree is only needed for the interview stage, therefore I will only send a photocopy for now...
