so now on to nvc...when our case gets there is it them who make the first contact or do we call everyday to find out if its there yet?

when it does get there how long for a case #? can anyone tell me the average timeline a case spends at the nvc?

thanks much everyone, just trying to stay on top of things :)...hubby will be here in 3 weeks and it would be great tp be finished with nvc for that time (in terms of sending in both packets and fees)

yes you should call. if everything is fine they will complete your case. if something is missing then it would take longer. I advice you to call

The NVC takes 20 days to issue you a case number when you reach day number 15 keep calling. As soon as you recieve your case number contact the NVC operator and register the emails of both you and your hubby. Request also the invoice identification number.

The NVC will email you and your hubby the package with the DS3032 form and the AOS bill.

Pay the bill online from your bank account using your account and routing numbers. This is $ dollars. Once the bill is marked paid you will print the AOS cover sheet. Attach it to your AOS package and mail it to the NVC.

You will then pay the IV bill of USD 404 online. Once this is marked paid again mail the IV package to the NVC
