Had interview and test at Fairfax virginia on November 2, 2011, i did my oath same day at 1pm. i applied under Section 319B, so happy for this! visited the 10 states during this travel from Kentucky to South Carolina, to Virginia, Washington DC and all the way to Ohio. Thanks God for this one month vacation that my husband flew with me to come for my interview and ceremony and everything went well.

thank you visa journey for your big help. now, i can petition my Mom and need to get information how to do this in the future.

keep in touch everyone!

Congratulations on becoming a U.S. citizen!

"The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps!" - Eleanor Roosevelt, First Lady of the United States, 1945.

"Retreat hell! We just got here!"

Congrats! I may need that information (i.e., bringing family members to the US) soon as well.

wow!congratulations! i wish that i will be in that situation someday?!

Against my will, my wife cosigned a college loan for my stepdaughter, we have the cash. While my name was never mentioned, got a letter in a couple of days later from the loan company, telling me that I am equally liable for this loan. See, I am still brainwashed, would be excellent evidence for the USCIS. Something the USCIS hasn't learned yet, that single marriage certificate make you totally legally responsible for all of your spouse debts. But still want tons of proof of that.

Same day oath would have been nice too, saving an additional 900 miles of driving just to watch a silly meaningless video and get a piece of paper. You already read and signed the oath, just lip syncing at the oath ceremony and more long lines. We don't deal with one USCIS, but 80 different ones.
