VJ is the BEST resource iv come across online for visa seekers...iv been here secretly reading several posts..while going thru my visa petition...and ill say my case has been wonderful from USCIS to NVC and now dat i have a date for december...i know fully well dat ill be APPROVED in Jesus name.

I see approved persons here boast of there preparedness and denied persons crying foul....for me ill be so glad to sit with over 50 consular officers proving my case face to face even if it will span a 6hrs interview.

My take here is GOD backs a genuine marriage thru anything...for those of u who worry bout not having all the documents on earth....i say u have ur GOD and ur mouth be ready to sit any CO down for hrs and tell them bout ur relationship as it is without mincing ur words....GOD bless us all genuine immigrants

I have to say that Prayer Works. What God has for you no man can take or break! I don' t do negativity..at all. Lagos like every other consulate is set up to give visa's or not to give visa's. What I hate about this process is the fact that mere humans sit in judgement of others. But.. according to what they say it's to weed out the scammers...okay right. I could say that the officer that interviews you could be having a bad day and ask questions that don't have anything to do with being married at all or decide that you don't look good together and deny you. Who's to say what the reason maybe that you'd get a RFE.. I got one.. yep sure did. I'd sent them a birth certificate they sent a request for a new one.. I sent it and that was that. Who's to say why you would be in AP.. surely not because you have not prayed about it. Or that you didn't belive that God would see you throught the process. There are forces in this life that we will never understand and it hurts when things go wrong. It's our ability to keep going .. our ability to keep the Faith.. our abilty to keep praying, keeping God first and our ability to stand hand in hand with one another when things do go wrong. To encourage eachother, to allow eachother to vent and to push eachother passed the breaking poing. This process has to be continuously prayed over and over. Yes we all have experienced the crazyness of USCIS and NVC. Yes marriages have been bonafide and real yet doubted for more proof. Is it fair.. NO!!!!! Blame the ones that have married for criminal reasons..like getting money. They have made it hard for all of us that are doing this for love. I pray for everyone still trying to get the Visa they deserve and for thoes that are going through the storm... I'm praying for you as well. As for the person who posted this...keep praying don't don't let anyone or the process discourage you. There is always HOPE!

The World is Yours to Experience....Venture out into it and find Love!

I have to say that I personally know two couples who have genuine relationships and they were denied by Guangzhou not once, but twice. One got approved on the third try and the other gave up and moved to China. The CO's can deny you a visa and they don't really have to explain their actions to anyone. Congratulations to you two, but for others going through the process, have your papers in order and be prepared for everything.

For those who trust in God, it is a great blessing. You have a genuine marriage or relationship seeking the K-I, or CR-I, or IR-I, and you do your homework getting prepared for it. Then as you pray to God, read the Bible and trust in Him, you can rely on the Holy Spirit to put thoughts in your mind of how to answer when you are questioned. He will give you the answer if you are genuine, have prepared, and trust in God.

I am not saying that at all at all, please dont twist this.....I am speaking specifically to your case...and I am simply saying that YES it's good to be confident...I am also confident, but to go around saying "I know I will be APPROVED, I will be APPROVED" is setting yourself up to look foolish....keep it close to you so when it happens then you can SCREAM IT TO THE WORLD....becuase there is ALWAYS a chance it might not so then you have now made yourself look silly...believe me im rooting for all the genuine relationships. Anyways declare it and keep it close to you then when it happens you can now tell the world....But seems you have your own way of doing things and thats fine.

Wonders shall never end.....Me selfish? LOL...If you only knew....Look at yourself very well my dear someone who has no timeline and who has been "secretly reading several posts..while going thru my visa petition", and who's only post on VJ has been to tell the whole world that he will be "APPROVED". Abeg, im not here to fight with anyone....I have said my own and I stand by it....Like I said before May God Bless your journey...

I have seen what can happen to real couples in Nigeria. You can be prepared to the upmost, you can have done your prayer, you can have pounds of phone records and pictures with family and friends and still be denied. You can then return to VJ and have the oversure post that real couples will pass their first attempt. I know there are many fellow Lagos couples between their first and second attempts and those words are a jab in the side of these people. It still bothers me and I am past that and getting our papers stacked up for ROC then on to him getting his USC. Lsgos was so terrible for me I have stayed around and tried to make sure as many couples don't fall into the trap of being too sure or simply doing the minimum and not having enough for Lagos. I may be a bit blunt but if it keeps even one couple from having to do a second petition then I have done what I have set out to do.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

YES!!! And if NO ONE else has said till now den let me be the first to tell you... Thank you SOOO MUCH for sticking around and helping those of us that are left behind here still struggling  cos I am sure it would be TOO easy to disappear from here after receiving your visa.

So I thank you NigeriaorBust for your continued guidance & support. I can DEF say that you do not sugar coat anything and you tell it like it is which is good cos that is what is NEEDED to be FULLY PREPARED for Naija. Stay Blessed :)
