I intend to visit my fiancee in the Philippines in late January/ early February if my fiancee isn't already here by then. Our NOA2 is expected in January/February so it would appear very unlikely she could be here in America by then. There's no problem with the USC going to visit the beneficiary before petition is approved is there? It would seem as if it would be recommended since the more evidence you have of meeting in person, the easier your interview at the embassy would be.

I don't think it would be a problem, you will get more evidence to show to USCIS and NVC that your relationship is real and genuine/ bona fide...Have a nice trip smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

No problem.

Proof of meeting in person is already done once you got your NOA2 so it won't matter that much anymore on her interview. YOur presence would be a great moral support though.

For her interview, familiarize and review her what you have sent in the application.

Happy New Year!

I went to the Phils between the NOA1 and NOA2. Not a problem. We now have a few new photos for the interview.

If it works out, be there for the medical and interview. It would be nice moral support.

Best of luck

One other thing -

Looking back over the photos, I got a hair cut half way through my last trip. The photos we have look like they were from two different trips as my hair is very different.

I am not saying this should be done, but it is an interesting effect.

Its no problem i have been to the phil. 4 times since i started the i129f, just received noa2 on nov 1 and im going back in a few weeks so no problem go enjoy.

Actually i would think it only makes ur case stronger as it shows a on going relationship.

Only 1 thing i can think would be bad about going there ( the very long flight ) :)

For NOA 1 they are only looking for u meeting at least 1 time in the last 2 years, But for interview they are looking for a on going relationship so as i said ur only making ur case stronger by going over there and spending time with her.

I am over there as much as i can even though that flight kills me, 10 1/2 hours from seattle to korea is killer for me im ready to jump off that dam plane lol than another 3 1/2 hours to clark field.

What part of phil. ?

What part of phil. ?

She lives in Taguig City which is close to Makati City, so I will get a hotel in Makati City. I hope to stay 3 weeks this time whereas last time I could only stay 2 weeks. I was last there in August of 2011. For me, the flight is even longer since I fly from Atlanta to Japan which is 13 hours. I'm thinking of going a different route this time just to make the longest flight a bit shorter. Also, I didn't have any sleeping medication last time I flew either. I thought I would have no trouble sleeping, but I was so wrong.

:ot: Unless you have a lot of money, it is not suggested to accompany your fiancee for her interview and hope that the visa will be at hand within 3 weeks and take your partner with you when you fly back home.

Some get the visa in 3 days, 1 week/s and even put to AP for an uncertain period of time.
