If my wife got citizen before my LPR interview do i get benefited in LPR interview

my interview for LPR is on 28 Nov 2011 and my wife my petitioner interview for citizenship is on 7 Nov 2011 if get her citizen before my interview i.e. 28 Nov 2011 is my interviewer get this information and am i get benefited for that.

No. If she were a citizen and you hadn't been scheduled it would be different wait times but as you have the interview nothing will change. You still are required to prove your relationship.

What kind of benefit are you hoping for? Did you want your visa to say "IR1" instead of "F2A"? The only advantage an IR1 has over an F2A is that you don't have to wait for a priority date to become current with an IR1. Since your priority date is already current, and you've already completed NVC processing, there would be no advantage to upgrading to an IR1 visa. The interview process for both types of visas is the same, and your status when entering the US will be the same.

It's possible the CO might know about your wife becoming a US citizen.

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

hey atool!

you can let the consul know and tell him. i am not sure if he can still upgrade you from f2a to IR. one benefit of being approved as an IR - spouse of US citizen is that you are eligible for naturalization in 3 years compared to if you are a spouse of an LPR which will take 5 years. :)
