FORGOT TO ENCLOSED I-130 ON THE PACKET

hELLO!

I need some advises...My USC husband is petitioning me and my son (his stepson) we are currently here in US..I mailed out our I-130 today,my son has his own separate petition but we sent it on the same envelope together with my application...I just found out that the I-130 filled out and signed by my husband for my son has not been enclosed to the packet we sent...as well as the copy of our marriage certificate..im so stressed i dont know what to do..but we also sent a separate processing fee for my son...do i need to wait for their response to reject my son's application or do i have to send it right away...please give me some advises..i know i was so careless..because it was my mother who mailed the application she was in a hurry...well..welll please give some insights regarding this..thanks!!!

thanks!!! i'm just wondering if they would also send back the check...that's what i'm thinking if i have to mailed out the missing documents i'm just afraid if it would only add to more confusion...

with out the 1-130 form, it will all be returned ,the check included.when it does check over every thing make sure nothing is missing put the packet back togather nice and neat paper clip the check to the 1-130 form and put the form G-1145 form e.mail nofity you.send it back again, make a copy of every thing to keep for your self another set,in case this one gets lost.

When they mail back the rejected copy, they may include a special coversheet (mine was lime green) that you should include in your re-submission. I think it gives you some priority, so your paperwork "catches up" to where it would have been had you not been rejected.

USCIS (128 days)

January 8, 2011: Mailed Petition for Alien Relative packet to USCIS.

February 1, 2011: Received Notice of Action 1.

May 16, 2011: Received Notice of Action 2. Case handed off to NVC.

NVC (41 days)

June 24, 2011: Mailed Affidavit of Support packet to NVC.

July 12, 2011: Received checklist letter 1.

(Long delay intentional; not counted in processing time.)

October 12, 2011: Mailed Immigrant Visa packet to NVC.

October 20, 2011: Received checklist letter 2.

October 26, 2011: Mailed checklist letter response packet to NVC.

November 4, 2011: Received interview letter. Case handed off to the consulate in KL.

Consulate

November 12, 2011: Completed medical exam.

November 19, 2011: Picked up results, everything clear.

December 1, 2011: Interview - approved!

December 8, 2011: Visa in hand.

POE and beyond

February 5, 2012: POE at JFK, no problems.

February 29, 2012: Applied for and received SSN from the local SSO.

April, 2012: Applied for and received state ID at the DMV.

(Slight delay, had to redo biometrics at the local service center.)

April, 2012: Conditional green card arrived!

Removal of conditions

2014 is right around the corner...
