No. Not in the slightest.

But if you killed a little girl, chopped her up in pieces and put those in your freezer so that you can eat up the evidence foot by foot, that might cause a problem.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

I don't find the second part either humor or informative...

HE is saying that a SEVERE crime is an issue. Though domestic violence is also an issue.

Even a kid would know that, I meant cannibalism joke is totally unnecessary here.

I think it's obvious what he's saying. It's the way he went about saying it that was a little ... disturbing. To say the least.

Hey . . . I'm a vegetarian, my wife is a vegetarian, my daughter is a vegan.

To me eating flesh of any kind is disturbing, probably as disturbing as for you eating human flesh. For me there's not much difference as it's eating parts of a body, either way. Spend a day in a slaughterhouse and see a cow screaming while its legs are sewn off while she's still conscious.

Let's not talk about disturbing here, okay?

Who cares about your vegetarian problem? You can eat whatever you want. It is you who were talking about cannibalism as a crime, I guess your sense of humor needs help from a mental doctor. Thanks

I found this very amusing.......as you said, it was dismissed. Therefore, it never happened, on record. Not a problem. You are good to go. Tell you fiance(e) just in case they get asked at the interview....remember USCIS has access to all your records....even those that are sealed and "never" can be accessed.

I became a vegetarian in 1983,at age 26, when I had testicle cancer.

My wife became a vegetarian in 1992, at age 30, after the father of her daughter passed away from cancer at age 36.

She nonetheless raised her daughter as a carnivore because she did not want to impose her views on her child.

Her daughter became a vegetarian in 2002, at age 13; before I even had met my wife.

She became a vegan in 2008, at age 20, and has ever been since.

My wife and I would like to follow our daughter's lead, but it's just not working out for us. If I were like Bill or Chelsea Clinton, Alec Baldwin, Alicia Silverstone, or Jessica Simpson, I had he money for a personal chef attending to our culinary needs, but since don't, it's just not practical.

I disagree with you. Just because a dog eats flesh doesn't mean humans should do the same. Examples only serve for deductive reasoning, but not inductive one. People abstain from eating flesh for several reasons: religion, health, and ethical reasons only being the three most prominent ones.
