IF Israel Attacks Iran.. whats should USA do?

I am sure that the U.S. military is stepping up its NBC training.

Iran will lash back as they should.We will retaliate as we have to because our troops in the region will be attacked. Russia and China will not interfere. Israel will be condemned by most but the sheep in the U.S. will watch their back.

If the US is planning to get involved... why bring home all the troops from other local theaters?

China and India are no friends of Mohammedans - they have a lot of problems with Mohammedan extremism.

It's not always about being friends, sometimes it serves a countries interest to have another country expend capital and resources to being entangled in these ventures.

Did we really have so much love for the Afghans or did it serve our interests to contribute to the USSR's futile effort there?

I suspect Russia enjoys watching us now weaken ourselves with so much military action and the costs associated.

Thats why I think they don't vote "with us" so much of the time.

From news reports it looks more and more likely Israel may take direct action against the Nuclear capabilities of Iran.

MOst assume this would be throwing gasoline on the fires of the Mideast.

Israel should definitely launch all out military assaults not just on Iran, but on every Arab and Muslim nation in the region.

Because, after all, on the authority of VJ's favorite poster:

It's a little surprising so many politicians seem ready to go to war to defend Israel under nearly any condition and not one person here seems willing.

Lets flip this around a bit and use the worn out Nazi paradigm.

If the UK and the rest of Europe would have hit the Germans before Germany built up her military then chances are there wouldn't have been nearly as many casualties. Europe tried to appease Germany by handing over part of Czechoslovakia and it still didn't help, it only made matters worse.

If we let Iran get the bomb then were in for more problems then we can handle. Take a look at North Korea for a prime example. I mean do we really want to see a nuclear Iran?

BTW when you point fingers at people on here calling them "NAZI sympathizers" don't forget about Israel harboring Bolshevik war criminals that are wanted in other countries for such crimes as mass rape, murder and genocide, yet Israel still refuses to extradite these butchers.

Certain Jews had no problem committing genocide in regards to starving to death millions of Ukrainians yet Jews like yourself still like to bring up the Holocaust every chance they get whether it's pertinent to a topic or not.

I wouldn't discount the danger of Iran with nuclear weapons so easily. While I don't think they would attack anyone directly, I think we are looking at a possibility that the weapons could end up in the hands of other agents. I think we are all kidding ourselves if we think the Iranian government will last beyond 2030. So there are two courses of action to be taken. Do what it takes to keep Iran from developing them OR create a plan to rush in and protect the weapons when the government collapses.
