Looks like Cairo, Egypt is trying to clean up the backlog. I believe they have scheduled all of case completed at NVC from JUNE JULY and AUGUST for December interview dates!

Congrats to everyone. Call NVC and get your date.

There are still 6 people that I know have an interview date. So if any of you know how to contact Keko, Zawgyosama, Ruby56, yesterdayrain23, Siidiga (I cannot find out who this is?? Amber and Ahmed put them in the list months ago) or aly174. I have offlined them or emailed them thru VJ but they have not responded yet. So if you know them then please Give them a call and tell them to call NVC and to update us please.

Is this list for CR1? From my research it seems that K1 interviews are given much sooner, but either way im glad they r working on their backlog! About time!

Yes we are CR-1 spouse visa interviews. And the K1's get their interviews within 2-3 months i think in Cairo. So they are at least trying to catch up on the backlog. Thank God!

They have not updated the interview schedule since october 17th.

From looking at the case numbers on the Embassy website, there is only a 45 digit gap between my case number and the most recent case number with an interview scheduled. So in reality this means there were less than 50 new cases for CR1 visas from the end of November until now. Of course, this does not mean that there were not other cases completed with an older case number during this time, but it gives me some hope that my interview will be scheduled soon :yes:
