Though not quite as small as your wife, my wife has the same problem finding clothes to fit, she can shop in the juniors to find jeans and casual clothes but to find more dress up or business things are very limited. Ann Taylor carries some x small petite sizes but generally, it's teen fashions or nothing.

The thing that strange is my wife is my wife is like 5'3" and slender, not skinny..... though by US standards she apparently is.

The petite sections vary by stores. We go to them all. My wife likes teen fashions. She thinks she is younger than she is

They are off doing better things that don't include having an internet ####### measuring contest. Besides, they are not as insecure as you are.

I got nothing against any of these guys or their wives, but I find it extremely hilarious how they go out of their way to say how good they got it. My husband joined VJ when we first started our journey in '09 and never logged in again. He's definitely off doing better things.

There's more to the UK vs RUB thing then what you see on here. There's a few reasons why we brag about our wives, one of them being that the UK mouth pieces used to come into the RUB forum flaming away all the while most of them had their Visa Journey crash and burn for the fact their spouses couldn't get away from them fast enough. The UK crowd was allowed by the mods to come into the RUB regional forum and completly ruin threads, including RUB holiday threads. It was a total no class act on their part, and a bigger no class act on the mods who let them get away with it. So we like to stick a fork in the UK crowd every chance we get.

And don't buy that ####### from the UK bunch when they say; "My spouse has better things to do than post on here." Like I said already, most of them don't even have spouses anymore yet they continue to post on here like they do. It's the same with a few of the Canadians that run with that bunch. Their relationships crashed and burned.

If they had spent less time on here calling peeps in the RUB and Philippine regional forums "misogynist" and flaming them for seeking trophy wives and spent more time dieting and pleasing their spouse they might have kept their relationship together. But fact of the matter is they FAILED their visa journey. They are the last people on this planet that should be giving anyone advice in the relationship dept.

A few of them are so pathetic that they have even made up pseudo accounts on here. Now if that isn't sad, I don't know what is.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Thanks for the in depth explanation. I had no idea there were issues between the UK crowd and the RUB peeps.

I'l admit there was a few times we did that. It was getting boring around here and we needed some action to keep things lively. But in our defense we have never flamed anyone in the UK and/or Canadian forums for the fact it's a rarity if any RUB member post in there. We find those two forums extremely boring.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/14-site-related-discussion-updates-ideas-etc/ <---- And unlike a few UK and Canadian posters on here, no RUB member has ever started a thread in that forum b*tching and whining about another regional forum.

I'm not B.Sing...this is true. But it did remind of of a couple of you guys in the RUB forum. I mean, there are hot guys in Russia, who are not old, overweight and that are around the same age and score out of 10 as some of your wives. Why are these lovely well educated women marrying you guys, or my old coot of a relative in the UK?

I'm 22, my husband is 25, I don't know what you're talking about

Though not quite as small as your wife, my wife has the same problem finding clothes to fit, she can shop in the juniors to find jeans and casual clothes but to find more dress up or business things are very limited. Ann Taylor carries some x small petite sizes but generally, it's teen fashions or nothing.

The thing that strange is my wife is my wife is like 5'3" and slender, not skinny..... though by US standards she apparently is.

I can shop in the juniors too. I don't consider myself that skinny either. I really don't want to be smaller - I would never find any clothes... I definitely don't want to get any bigger either. I still want to be able to fit into my wedding dress in 5-10-20 years for a photo shoot or something.

I got nothing against any of these guys or their wives, but I find it extremely hilarious how they go out of their way to say how good they got it. My husband joined VJ when we first started our journey in '09 and never logged in again. He's definitely off doing better things.

My husband didn't even join VJ, he just gave the link to me.

I really don't see what is there to brag about... Does not going to VJ make anybody better? Does it mean that I should stop posting here to become a better person? I don't understand...

oh and i was curious about who you think isn't married anymore in the UK forum.. I can only think of 1 or 2 people...

I can name four right off the bat, and two Canadians that hang with that crew. I won't list them here for the fact I know the consequences for that one.

I can think of two RUB peeps that had their relationships crash and burn, and one of them is remarried to a RUB gal and so far all is good. But again when is the last time you saw a RUB member flaming someone in another regional forum? It doesn't happen. They come to us, not the other way around.

But we do plan on having another "Post pics of your wife and car thread" in the RUB forum. We do that once a year and it's always a hit.

TBH until you posted your wedding pics, I always thought you were the USC. You just don't come across as Russian..no offense, but you don't write like one...at least your words. You sure you weren't raised in the US?

lol... No, I was raised in Russia (and partially Ukraine), but I studied linguistics (with an emphasis on linguistic pragmatics), languages and intercultural communication for 5 years in the university, so I was taught in particular how to talk to anglophone people.

I guess I did a good job if at least some native speakers get this impression after talking to me :star:

I didn't know the Regional Forums were exclusive clubs! Who else knew this! Raise your hand if you knew this!

No you just come right out into the P&R Forum and randomly start $hit.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

The UK crowd was allowed by the mods to come into the RUB regional forum and completly ruin threads, including RUB holiday threads. It was a total no class act on their part, and a bigger no class act on the mods who let them get away with it.

The trouble is, a lot of the current regular UK posters never took part in these flamefests (heck, I don't even recall ever seeing them), so to anyone who isn't aware of the history (which I'd wager is a majority of current posters) all it seems like is one-sided baiting.

So we like to stick a fork in the UK crowd every chance we get.

Are you serious?!

Just the throwing around of 'RUB' and 'CABA' acronyms on these forums is enough to make me feel sick. I hoped that these days people knew better than to stereotype by nationality! I work with a lot of other immigrants - my teammates (all absolutely lovely ladies) are from Mexico, Canada, Russia and India - and it's surprising what we all have in common (and what we don't). And none of us conform to the national stereotype.

As a young teen I believed the US was one of the last places on earth I'd wish to visit... thank goodness I grew up and became more open-minded.
