Manu and I had our interview today in Philadelphia at 9:00am. I was so nervous on the drive down that I could hardly talk when we got within 10 minutes of arriving (and I usually have a lot to say). W

Got the hardcopies today!

Got our RFE hardcopy, fortunately it's really simple. Just need to submit proof of our joint sponsor's legal status in the US!

FINALLY!!!!!

Since I hadn't heard anything in three weeks after I sent my RFE, I contacted my Congressman again. They got a reply from USCIS saying they got the RFE and to just wait. My Congressman told me to contact them if I didn't hear anything by mid-Sept. Well the next day I got the notification that the card was in production!! Got that on Aug 3 and on Aug 11 got the card.

So if anyone is waiting, contact your Congressman for sure!

Took 19 days from when our congresswoman's office told me they had send the request on our behalf!

Congrats! soon the card will be there and you'll be out of the waiting game for 19 months!

My wife and I just went back into the waiting game though. Renewed her passport with her embassy and are now waiting on her passport. First it was waiting for the appointment on for bio-metrics, and now we're waiting for the passport. We have no idea how long they take. But at least its not a painful wait, where and RFE or denial can get issued.

I'm still confused on how CSC is approving AOS cases from 2012 (some within just a few months of filing) already when they still have some from 2011 in the queue.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.
