I filed November 23rd

Biometrics on Dec 19th and am STILL waiting for GC-

Just found this thread so feel quite reassured that my Card Production SHOULD SHOULD SHOULD be right around the corner??!!

12/19/10- Got Engaged

1/25/11- Let's try this again. Mailed I129F with green form and check

1/27/11- USCIS received pkg

2/01/11- NOA1 emailed.

2/04/11- Hard copy of NOA1 received

5/31/11- Email NOA2 APPROVED!!!!!

6/03/11- Hard copy of NOA2 received

6/07/11- NVC received petition

6/08/11- NVC sent petition to London

6/15/11- Consulate received petition

6/17/11- Pkt 3 received

6/27/11- Pkt 3 mailed to Consulate

6/29/11- Pkt 3 received by Consulate

7/19/11- Medical completed

8/02/11- Email from Consulate confirming interview date

8/06/11- Pkt 4 received

8/17/11- Interview Appointment. Visa Approved!!!!

10/12/11- POE

11/10/11- AOS mailed

12/02/11- Walk-in biometrics done

12/05/11- Case transferred to CSC

My card was delivered on Saturday. :) I haven't got it yet because apparently our address change wasn't processed in time and it's at our old house, but A picked it up from there this morning. Still keeping everything crossed for you all!

Finally got the notice of card production today. A text said the case had been updated and logging in showed it was in production as of today.

Nov 22 filing until July 9th notice of production, its been a long wait. Now its just waiting on the card and two years of no dealing with USCIS!

Congratulations! I have been wondering when you were going to be approved. Can we send in the paperwork 1 year and 9 months after receiving the temporoary greencard to remove conditions or do we have to wait exactly 2 years?

AOS Journey

11-04-2011 sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

11-07-2011 delivered

11-08-2011 Date on text messages but did not receive until 11-22-2011

11-23-2011 Check cashed.

11-25-2011 Hard copies of NOA1s

12-06-2012 Pui's Brother unexpectly passes away and we make an info pass appointment and receive an emergancy AP so she can return home. Pui leaves for Thailand for 2 weeks.

12-06-2012 Get a text message and email that she received an RFE

12-12-2012 RFE for original birth certificate. I swear we sent it along with a certificate translation of it.

12-20-2012 Pui returns from Thailand.

12-21-2012 We send the RFE back for with original birth certificate along with a new certificate of translation(I had to wait for her to return for her to sign)

12-26-2012 text and email they have received the RFE.

12-29-2012 Appointment for biometrics is 01-23-2012

01-13-2012 AP is approved.

01-23-2012 Biometrics appointment. Later during the evening the text and email saying the EAD is approved.

01-31-2012 EAD/AP combo card arrives.

05-22-2012 Email and text card is in production!

We can, and should (as I understand), send in the application 90 days before the GC expiration date.

We are end of Oct / beginning of Nov filers. Sent a letter to my Congress man and he said he would check on it like two weeks ago. Now I finally got an alert on my phone! So excited so went to check our case status online.

Saw a RFE. Very bummed out. I felt like I gave them everything they needed.

Well at least got any response from them after all these months! Just didn't expect that.

Staying positive though.

That is what we were constantly worried about getting to. So sorry you got an RFE, instead of a green card now. But on the bright side, at least you're not buried in a box somewhere now. Give them the answer and you should have the green card soon.

Got the RFE and it was a simple mistake on our part. Forgot to sign one page. Whew!

When she gets her green card (hopefully) will she need to do anything? I ask cause she's thinking about going back home for a couple months soon. I want to book her ticket now but jusantsy to make sure if and when she gets it, she doesn't need to be here.

it's been almost 9 months now... still nothing. contacted uscis, and the rep told me that my application is already outside the normal processing times so she did a service request and gave me a reference number... contacted a congressman too.... i hope i get it soon! crossing my fingers. am i the only november 2011 filer left waiting? last update was december 13th when i had my biometrics, my case got transferred to freakin CSC december 5th.
