I feel ya guys. I'm so sick and tired of waiting too. I don't want to check my case status every day just to find out that it still says "initial review". I just want it to be over now so that I can forget about all that until it's time for ROC. Right now it feels like I still can't start my new life here (even I could) because this step is not complete yet.

AOS based on K1:

11.10.11 wedding

16.11.11 filed for AOS

18.11.11 NOA1

12.12.11 case transferred to CSC

17.01.12 I131 got approved

20.01.12 biometrics

20.01.12 EAD/AP combo card in production

28.01.12 received EAD/AP in mail

11.05.12 GC approved

Finally some good news! We called USCIS last Tuesday after it had been 4 months since we handed in the petition, but they told us to wait until the 6 month mark and then call back.... A bit frustrating, so I went online to register for email updates so I would stop checking the case status daily, and on Saturday I got the email that his green card is approved and is in the mail! It does take a great deal of waiting and patience, but it's worth it in the end.

Congrats to you. I'm hoping we get the same information soon to. You sent your's on the same date we did, so just maybe our notification is soon to be sent. Or maybe to, our AOS application is on the desk of the slowest worker there lol.

I think I take the cake for the slowest application haha I went in to the SSA office today with my EAD and they said they had to wait 30 days(!) before requesting a number?! So no driver's license for me for another month, UGH. Hopefully I'll have my GC by then? At the rate things are going, it's doubtful :(

I see there are still October filers posting in their thread, so there must be some slower than you. But I'd have thought with your early November filing, you'd be one with the GC card. My wife was a late November filer, and we're hoping soon she has it so we can put this waiting game away for a while.

Ditto this, and I also have a friend who filed in September who only got her GC last week. Your application is definitely not the slowest out there, robocop. :)
