Woops! Just found out today that my GC is approved! I'm so glad I didn't have to do an interview. Well done CSC! Gonna start job soon too as a Life Enrichment Manager. Smooth sailing now!

Thanks. Filed in Novemeber as well. our interview is next week and Zach (my husband) is more nervous than I am) oh well, he works under pressure anyways. Wish us luck! :thumbs:

Hi! Seems like I have issues with my EAD... the website says that it was delivered to my address but I never received it. I called USCIS hundreds of times to make sure they have the right address.. but I never got it, I think they might have sent it to the old one. In that case I won't be able to get it. I will definitely call them on Monday but I'm just so frustrated they would tell me to wait for the next 30 days again. By the way, I got mail for USCIS saying that my address was changed on my file... so what's the problem???

They screwed up my EAD card already once... it was approved and i got a notification that it was mailed to me.. but i never received it. When i called the USCIS it turned out that something was wrong and they had to remake my card (30 days of waiting for me if not more)... I lost all the job offers i had.. I'm getting depressed... has anybody had a similar situation? what did you do?

Call them and ask for a tracking number as they send them with a tracking number now so its easier to know where it is.

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone here had trouble when applying for a Social Security Card? For some reason my application wouldn't go through,but funny is that my son's went through.The guy behind the desk at the SSA Office said he will try this week to register my application ,and if it still not going through he will have to mail a letter to USCIS to see if they confirm or not that I am eligible to apply for a SSN.I wonder if it has anything to do with my name,having my maden name on the passport,but applying with my maried name.EAD is on my married name so I am thinking it should work.I don't know,if you guys,anyone has any idea of why this can happen,please share it,leave a message,anything.

We applied and received the SSN for my wife with her married name with no issues. That was before the AOS had even been filed for. Her I-94 still had plenty of time on it. We brought the marriage certificate and her passport as an ID.

Like you,I also brought along our marriage certificate.They never said that should be a problem,it is just me wondering now,if that's the reason why my application wouldn't go through.I don't know maybe it will work out,maybe just something in their system didn't work well,or just maybe some type errors.I guess I just have to wait and see.:)
