Thanks Caryh.I hope your wife finds her a job soon.Tell her to not get frustrated, something will come up.I have not been working since I got here, over two years now,so I understand very well her frustration. Will pray that she finds something soon.Good luck!! God bless! :)

I agree do not get frustrated. Pui sent applications to Kohl's and Target. We sent the Kohl's application about 3 weeks ago and I gave up thinking they would call but they did on Monday and had Pui interview on Wednesday and the other people at the interview had appiled back in Janurary, so give it a little more time to think they will never call back. Thursday they called Pui back and asked her if she had a drivers license or a state id. She told them no I do not have one but I have my work card(EAD card). I told her if they called her back that is a good thing even if they have not said if they want her to start working or no they do not want her to work. After she had her interview I told her I was very proud of her and said if you get the job that is good and if you do not get the job that is good to.

Thanks and good luck to those we are still waiting waiting!I hope Pui gets her Green Card soon! Good luck! :)

Thanks.

Okay as of 3/1 that was our 4 month mark of filing for our AOS so I called uscis customer service. Told them what was going on. The tier 1 sent me onto tier 2 customer service. I was pretty much stone walled and was told they are currently working on August 18th? I was trying to ask her a question she got an attitude and was like I was talking. I wasn't being rude but she sure was. I'm like the processing time on the website says 4 months. She informed me that was just a "guide line" and that unless it has been more then 180 days they weren't going to put in a service request. THANKYOU CSC!! :hehe:

i am in the same boat. i'm getting even more worried about this since i need to pick up my kid back home, her k2 will be expiring in a couple of months, i still haven't bought a ticket since i have no idea when i'd get my green card. i did not file for AP since i was expecting that i'd have my green card by now... and ticket prices are no joke. tickets purchased not earlier than 2 months before departure are damn expensive!

anway Sunny123, how were you able to get a real human being on the phone? :help::help: :help:

I called the number uscis #1-800-767-1833 . There is an option for checking status I pressed that one and I believe there is an option after that for if you have an issue with one of your applications and selected that one. Hope that helps you.

Hello Neash

It appears you're waiting on the K1 visa petition. This is the Adjusting Status forum, were we're waiting to get green cards for spouses or ourselves. You should post in the K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports section. You can see others waiting on the same thing you are. From looking at the timeline stats, it looks like Vermont is still working on October for K1 visas. Good luck on your journey.

No need to apologize, I was just trying to help you get to the right section where you can get a lot more information on how things are progressing on K1 processing. You'll be in this section soon enough  We've all been through the wait you're on now, I can tell you waiting with your spouse is much nicer than waiting to get permission to be with them.
