I am so sad. I look at everyone's signature lines and it seems like even though we filed our AOS in November, we havent got the EAD or Green card like everyone else.

I wish we knew why ours is taking so long.

11/1/10: NOA1 Received

4/14/11: NOA2 - Approved!!!!

8/18/11: Visa in hand

8/29/11: POE in ATLANTA!!!!

9/16/11: Married!!!

AOS PROCESS:

10/4/11: Social Security Card Arrived!

11/10/11: AOS Package mailed to Chicago Lockbox

11/19/11: NOA1

12/2/11: Biometrics

12/10/11: Case transferred to the California Service Center

03/06/12: EAD approved and card production!

Don't get discouraged,we just had our biometrics apointment for today!We filled on November 19th,and we just now have done our biometics.So I think you are good,you did your biometrics though!You will get it soon probably!!Cheer up,it will be there soon! Good luck! :)

Such a great day,had a very nice experience at the ASC for our biometrics appointment! We had to go in Greer,SC which is about 2hr away from where we live,not bad at all.Very nice location,new location by the way.They have been so nice to us! :thumbs:

AOS Journey

11-04-2011 sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

11-07-2011 delivered

11-08-2011 Date on text messages but did not receive until 11-22-2011

11-23-2011 Check cashed.

11-25-2011 Hard copies of NOA1s

12-06-2012 Pui's Brother unexpectly passes away and we make an info pass appointment and receive an emergancy AP so she can return home. Pui leaves for Thailand for 2 weeks.

12-06-2012 Get a text message and email that she received an RFE

12-12-2012 RFE for original birth certificate. I swear we sent it along with a certificate translation of it.

12-20-2012 Pui returns from Thailand.

12-21-2012 We send the RFE back for with original birth certificate along with a new certificate of translation(I had to wait for her to return for her to sign)

12-26-2012 text and email they have received the RFE.

12-29-2012 Appointment for biometrics is 01-23-2012

01-13-2012 AP is approved.

01-23-2012 Biometrics appointment. Later during the evening the text and email saying the EAD is approved.

01-31-2012 EAD/AP combo card arrives.

05-22-2012 Email and text card is in production!

As of now, we are waiting for her green card to arrive. I see that some of you got their EAD cards confiscated. My wife's EAD card wasn't confiscated by the CO. I asked him what shall we do with it when we get the card? The CO said, destroy it or put it on a scrap book. LOL :rofl:

Hahaha that's funny but not a bad idea :P Our CO didn't even ask to see anything but my driver's license. He told us we were approved, was filling in some papers and then asked if we had his 2011 W2. He looked at it and I offered him a copy (since we had copies of everything of course!) and he said sure, since you went to the trouble of copying it. lol Got notice my green card was mailed 2 days ago so back to checking the mailbox daily! :)

Hey, Just noticed you got your EAD and AP approved! Congrats.

My wife has been frustrated since getting the EAD, she's been busy filling out job applications and sending her resume around but no job offer yet. Almost 6 months without working is kind of making her a bit stir crazy. I guess it would to me to.

03-06-2011 - Packet received in Texas.

03-23-2011 - NOA1 received in mail, dated 03-09-2011.

05-31-2011 - RFE requested. They want better passport pictures of me.

06-06-2011 - Additional passport pics sent.

06-08-2011 - Evidence received and acknowledged. Whew!

06-16-2011 - NOA2 received!

07-20-2011 - Packet 3 Received!

08-01-2011 - Packet 3 returned to Embassy.

08-22-2011 - Packet 4 Received!

09-19-2011 - Interview...APPROVED!

09-23-2011 - Visa in Hand

09-29-2011 - POE LAX

11-11-2011 - Wedding at 11:11pm GMT time.

AOS Journey

12-02-2011 - Mailed in AOS/EAD/AP paperwork.

12-05-2011 - Delivery confirmation per USPS.

12-27-2011 - (3) NOA I-797C received, dated 12-20-2011. Biometrics appt set.

01-10-2012 - Biometrics.

01-20-2012 - Notified of interview appointment for 2-21-2012.

01-31-2012 - EAD and AP approved.

02-08-2012 - EAD/AP card received.

02-21-2012 - AOS interview approved. EAD/AP card confiscated.

03-01-2012 - Green Card in hand!!!
