Absolutely no news since biometrics :( Do they have to transfer your case before approving your EAD?

May 8, 2012 - Interview - approved!! :D

No it doesn't, it can be transferred before EAD, after EAD, or not transferred at all. Mine was transferred the same day as my EAD approval.

Me too. you and i got the same timeline,but mine at NBC and since the biometric appointment DEC/20 nothing show up. i got worry for a second when i seen most of the November filers got their EAD approval.i thought that they will transfer my case (i 485) to the local uscis cente,but nothing show up.i guess that we only have to be patient.

hope that we get our approval by the end of this week :unsure: :unsure: :unsure:

Just received email notification of EAD and AP approvals being mailed out (I had previously received EAD card production notifications).

This seems consistent with others posters here: two notifications of EAD card production, and one notification of the approval being mailed out.

Same here, just got notification of approval of the EAD after having had the previous two card production notifications (although in my case I got the AP approval notification at the same time as the first EAD card production notification)

Just received email notification of EAD and AP approvals being mailed out (I had previously received EAD card production notifications).

This seems consistent with others posters here: two notifications of EAD card production, and one notification of the approval being mailed out.

EAD card and the letter saying it was transferred to csc came today.

The card just says employment authorization. Is it for AP too? The USCIS site says the travel application hasn't been touched since November, so I'm not sure.

The card just says employment authorization. Is it for AP too? The USCIS site says the travel application hasn't been touched since November, so I'm not sure.

If it says "serves as advance parole" at the bottom of the card then yes, it serves as both.

Finally........After a whole 60 days of waiting....Thank God,i can now go out and work just like every other human being out there...Tired of staying at home with our Dog..:dance:

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On January 20, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.
