Getting mildly antsy about my EAD/AP now. We have travel plans booked for the first week of February so I would really need to have the thing by then.

I found out when I checked my status on USCIS website. And just got the texts now

On January 2, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I'm guessing its the EAD/AP combo card.

I wonder why I don't get any update on my case yet. I hope nothing is wrong.

I wouldn't worry yet. I haven't heard anything either, and it looks like we filed at the exact same time. I would give it another 2-3 weeks or so. :)

Also, for others in this thread posting updates, could you please include your updated timelines in your signatures? Thanks!

We got another RFE, it was for tax related things. It was for the same stuff I thought our first RFE was for. I wish they would have just sent it all together, instead of almost a month apart! It is being sent in today, after this they shouldn't need anything else..hopefully.

When we received the text/email from USCIS saying that our case was transferred,it also said that they mailed a notice explaining this action.So I understand when they say that, that means they already sent it, right?? I wonder how long it takes for a notice to get to the destination?Why is taking so long??? :unsure:
