Sorry about my last post it was misleading - I did not get a touch post biometrics. I meant that I have not seen any online activity since before my biometrics, from when I received notices of receipt :)

Phew!! I was about to have a heart attack. Hahahahaha. I just kept thinking, maybe the lady just shut off the computer and didnt send my biometrics (since I was the last one) LOL I was about to make a million calls asking about it! LOL Thank you so much for clearing it all up. God bless.

Finally got my Biometrics appointment! kicking.gif It'll be on December 22.. We are thinking of going there early.. Has anyone here had any experience in biometric walk-in in Memphis, Tn? unsure.gif

Hey Dee! We are far from the USCIS Memphis field office though, bout 4hours or so.. So we wanna make sure the travel for the walk-in would be worth it laughing.gif

Well, the way I see it, Walk-ins are pretty much a gamble. You can't really tell for sure if they will let you have it. I guess the only secure way of having the trip and making it worth your while is going on the day of your app. (Im 8 hours driving from Memphis BTW...) LOL

Aww, mine did, for the honeymoon. 10 hours in 1 day and had to work the next day :luv: I know it's that far because I have a wedding to attend, and it's gonna be in Memphis.

Got the hard copy in the mail yesterday stating our case was transferred to the California Service Center on December 2 for faster processing. :) Also got a text message and email at midnight last night saying it was at the USCIS service center - assuming that means it has been received by CSC now.

K-1 Visa Journey

October 12, 2010: NOA1 e-mail received, routed to VSC

October 16, 2010: NOA1 hard copy received (dated October 7, 2010)

April 18, 2011: RFE e-mail

May 2, 2011: E-mail confirming VSC has received RFE response

Went to biometrics appt today and showed up about 30min early. I had to wait about 45min. The first officer at check in was unsure because my passport last name and appointment letter last name were different. I explained that I was married recently and gave her my marriage certificate. She then handed it all in to the supervisor who must have had to check over the procedure for K-1 or call someone. She then came and told me to go ahead and it was quick and easy. If you are adjusting from a K-1 and you applied for AOS under your married name, it's a good idea to bring your marriage certificate.

March 2010- Met in Calgary, Canada (he was working there)

Dec 31, 2010- Engaged

Jan 5, 2011- Mailed I-129f

Jan 10, 2011- Signature of acceptance at Texas lockbox

Jan 12, 2011- Notice date on NOA1 hardcopy

Jan 14, 2011- Touched

Jan 18, 2011- Received email notification/forward to VSC and check cashed

Jan 20, 2011- He moved to Houston/work transfer :(

May 12, 2011- NOA2!

May 20, 2011- Left NVC for Vancouver

Aug 17, 2011- Medical

Aug 18, 2011- Interview

Aug 29, 2011- POE at Sweetgrass, Montana...drove to Houston

Sept 24, 2011- Wedding in Hawaii

Nov 12, 2011- Sent in AOS/EAD/AP
