I'm back! Everything was somewhat complicated. Went in, told us to sit down because they saw it a little impossible to let do a walk in since they were back logged by 30 people. Then I got called to tell me they couldn't, and I started doing puppy face again. I told them it was only me and explained the circumstances as to why I couldn't wait. (I did not lie about a trip, but they did ask if that was one of the reasons, seemingly if you say you have a trip you do have more of a chance of getting a walk in.) The receptionist told me that if I wanted to wait 30 minutes to see how the speed went, I could, and ask her again. I did this and she said that just because I waited. Hahahaha. I told her she was going to heaven, so I WAS ABLE TO DO A WALK IN!!!! Kinda stressed, waited for an hour and a half, but worth it. I was the last person to have a Bio by that officer, they were supposed to close at noon today, but for some reason somebody scheduled appointments when they shouldn't and TADA!!

We sent out our package end of October it got there i think on Oct 28th. Nov 1st we got e-notice via text messages and e-mails that it had been received just a couple of days later we got the NOAs and Biometrics Appointment letter in the mail. I had my Biometrics appointment Nov 21st.. really easy I was half an hour early my appointment was for 10am I was there at 9:25 (it didn't take me five minutes to fill out the paper they hand you.. someone next to me had difficulty reading what information they wanted from him so I helped :blush: ) I was done by 9:50am! and now we're just waiting..

I checked USCIS website today and I was surprised that this happened...

On November 28, 2011, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

My biometrics is scheduled next week. NOA1 said they forwarded my case to National Benefits Center. I know they either transferred my case to CSC or local office but before biometrics? I'm expecting to receive the hard copy mail explaining this transfer since it happened yesterday.
