I'm just happy that it's in the process. :) I just have to keep reminding myself that every day and also that with each passing day it's one day closer to being with her! (L)

Soooooo, true. Don't be OCD about it and don't waste your time calling, they will be of no help. Be a verbal encouragement towards one another and remember that it is hard for both of you. However don't just talk about how much you miss eachother all the time, you are still in a relationship just really far away. When you get to 3 months you will really start feeling like "REALLY?!" The best advice I ever heard on here was to remember that this is a short wait compared to a whole life-time you will get to spend together.

best of LUCK!

All great advice! I'm not the type of person that is horribly impatient even with something so important... We had already been apart 7 months when I flew out to see her so a few more months won't be that bad. But really great advice that in the scheme of things this will be no time at all.

i filed about a week ahead of you, so i think we are in this boat for the long haul together! i have read so much on this website (it has SO much helpful info) and i feel like i need to relax and take a VJ hiatus! haha! it's so hard not to obsess!

honestly, though, it's great to be surrounded by people from around the world who are going through the same thing (or have already been through it and are great guides!).
