Fiance backed out from interview

My ex fiancee did not show up for her interview on september, and did not even explain her reason for not showing up. To the point of not even answering my calls. When i did talk to her, she said she's not ready to get married. And later found out from her cousin that she cheated on me with another guy. I'm devastated right now after all the time, money, and sacrifices i went through for her. What should i do now? I have no intentions of getting back with her, but i'm concerned of a future fiancee visa petition if i do finally find the right woman in my life.. Need help! Advice! Thank you!

You are lucky can escape from this heartless woman. Speaking about another petition for the next future fiancee, I read on VJ that some people already did it and passed. So, do not worry..Good luck!good.gif

write in and formally withdraw your petition.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

This. Also, if you petition again soon, mention this prior petition.

From a personal standpoint, she has just saved you a LOT of time and heartache. Consider even briefly the misery (at minimum) or agony (probable) that your life would contain had she gone through with this half-heartedly.

If she's "not ready" for marriage, consider that mutual readiness is perhaps the chief factor of meeting someone with whom to form a lasting relationship. Readiness DEFINES compatibility.

As I review my relationship history, I thank heaven that the previous instances did NOT result in a falsely manufactured coupling.

Look forward, not back, and keep the faith, si man.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

On the bright side (and I know it's hard to look that way at this point), it's better that this came out BEFORE she moved to the United States.

Thanks for the great advice and encouraging words..i will definitely write a formal letter..should i write to uscis and the u.s. Embassy?any guidelines on writing a letter? Thanks for the help.

Send it to USCIS and forward a copy to USEM.

Keep your head up OP, the hurt you feel now and the money lost is nothing compared to what it would have cost you in the future. She really has done you a favor, she has removed herself from your life so the real Ms. Right can appear.

Good luck.

Not an issue. If you refile within 2 years, you'll have to include a letter (the waiver) telling what happened on this petition and how it ended. Not an issue. Do take more time to ensure your relationship is solid and both parties are completely sure of their decisions.

This kind of ###### pisses me off beyond words.

I cannot believe that she would wait till the DAY OF INTERVIEW to not show. I won't rant and say even half of what i'm thinking, but you are going to be fine. And this excursion of hers is going to crash and burn, watch.

YOU WILL FIND BETTER

About 4 years ago, I got burned so bad by an American woman that I will never trust what anyone tells me until I thoroughly know them and they are worthy of it. I am sure that Whyus0heartless has learned this and will likely end up with a much, much better woman next time. That is what happened in my case anyway.

My finance told me that many women in the Philippines just want the Fiance to send them money and they have a boyfriend on the side. They really don't want to leave.

IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR

While on Filipinocupid.com I had a scammer take me for $ 150 and I put her story, name and picture on dragonladies.com. I almost forgot I did that and last week a guy contacted me about a girl of the same name. He said he was shocked to find her name on dragonladies.com and he told me he had drained his bank account and sent her over $ 20,000 this year. I told him I was positive the woman was a scammer but he still believes she is not and is planning on meeting her in December. He has only seen her on cam once but talks to her everyday. I am positive it is a scam but I can't convince him because he is in love :bonk:
