Really, you make me wanna check mine as well.... but i am scared of the impact it may cause. Do you think they will people checking their status on the website before the hard copy? lol

What impact? It's just like a tracking number

You have every right to check it since they gave it to you, they just tell you to wait cause it might not be recognized in the first few days, time for the system to process the new entry.

By the way my actual NOA1 date is 11/14.

You requested an expedite, right? Was it approved?

Well, I don't, but I see people who filed for IR1/CR1 and who got approved very fast, it seems to happen randomly, so there's hope! Cause 5 months sounds like a really long, long time...

So I created an account on USCIS website, and I signed up for e-mail updates on the case. It also showed that the case was touched on 11/17. That's probably when CSC received it! And when they put it in a box in their basement to sit on it for next 15 weeks or so :hehe:

By the way, just fyi, I wasn't able to create the account and add my case to my portfolio on uscis.gov using Chrome, I had to do it with IE.

Finally filed I-130 on Nov. 16th. I'm so new here its not funny. How do I set up tracking on this site?

VJ you mean? Well it looks like you already did, since you have a timeline. When you get your NOA1 e-mail or letter, enter the date of the NOA1, and it will give you an approximate adjudication date. Mine now says between March and May

If the service centers start processing applications faster, the date will change though!
