I've been extremely lucky so far, since my husband was still living here in France with me, but he's now preparing to leave. He leaves next week and will start his new job in the US right away. :(

I'm very worried (as always, but more :lol: ) about having to go through the rest of the process without him by my side. It's gonna be tough. :crying:

I'm doing the same thing. I've been fortunate to be in Australia with my husband thus far in the process but I too will be leaving next week to start work in the US. And like your husband, I will be starting right away! I think it's just natural for the women to be the worriers! I wish I could be here long enough for my husband to get his visa--I would make sure everything is completed correctly and he doesn't screw up anything! So i can imagine how you feel doing this 'alone'.

my concern for this week is knowing when the NVC gets my case & assigns a number so i can change my address as soon as possible!

Wow, we really have the same story going on here!

My husband is worried too, but he's got faith in the overall process, he's just convinced it's a matter of time and I'll join him soon. I wish I could see things with a positive mind like him.

Unfortunately NVC is being slow as a snail these days... Almost a month after NOA2, I know our case has been received, but they haven't entered it into their system yet. So we're waiting for a case nber to be able to do anything further. Status has been the same for 10 days now.

People i am happy and sad at the same time

Happy: because office Mina from the expedite section caled my wife and ell her that he wants to approve our request but he need a letter not a note to be sent to him.

Sad: because last night my wife had to go to emergency because she could not breathe. They gave hum serum and stuff, They also give her a paper that she will fax to OFficer Mina today and the Hospital will fax another paper to him. I am sure in the name os Jesus we are already approved for this Expedite and will use all these documents as well for NVC to speed up the case.

God is in control!!!

Thank you Laure, I can not wait to come. It is really hard when you know the person is not in good shape, vomiting, suffering and that you are not there to see with your eyes. When you are hearing the news from the phone, you could imagine things that even not happening or not going to happen. This is my situation, as for last night she text me that she could not breathe and that her family taking her to hospital, i was here, immaging a lot of scenario, even thought about heart attack or sudden death. I prefer to see with my eyes than to be far away and being given news

Hi everyone! I sent my I-130 on oct. 31; USPS delivered it november 02. Im waiting for a confirmation that USCIS really got my package! I know, i know, it just started this "waiting" thing!hehe! Who´s in the same boat? God bless us with looots of patiance and grace! :thumbs:
