Yes, I think it goes as fast as DCF (there was still DCF when I was looking last year and it only took 3 months for the entire process). Hadrien and I lived together for 4-5 years too but I went back to the States to get some work experience before Hadrien proposed ~ dang it, if I would have known I would have stayed. :rofl:

But, no matter how long the wait, it is a great feeling to get passed NOA2 :dance: and it's all almost over.

Hadrien went to go see Dr Sallerty or whatever his name is. J'ai cree un post qui s'appelle "Medical in Paris" in the Europe forum. Je l'ai écrit en Anglais je crois. Ne t'inquiètes pas, c'est comme une visite médicale, apparemment. Easy.

Ok I'll take a look at the post about the medical. I think I'll try to have my vaccination done in advance.

I have a theory about our adjudication coming so fast (totally useless but I like to have theories) : I suspect CSC has specifically assigned workforce to the processing of petitions sent by USCs residing abroad, since the DCF rules changed in August. This idea is based on different facts, the most important one being that a lot of the super speedy approvals were in this case lately.

My husband on the other hand thinks that we have a guardian angel!

A november filer here. I sent off my I-130's for my wife and step-daughter on nov. 29. As of today i checked the USPS site and package arrived in chicago on Dec. 1 at 4:01 am. Thought it would be delivered to lockbox same day but since the update hasn't changed, i'm assuming it wasn't delievered yet. Hope all goes well,

I"m up here in Boston, and my wife is in Dominican republic. We've been married for about 2 months and I spent so much time getting the app ready for her and her daughter. This site has been very helpful, I don't know how people do their applications without it. I'm just waiting to receive my NOA1 or at least confirmation package arrived at the lockbox. :thumbs:

Hi Matt!

I freaked out because the tracking didn't work for my shipment, but after a couple of days I got the NoA1 by e-mail. I'm sure it's gonna be delivered today!

Everyone : I got to talk to the Turkish consulate in my city! Actually I was so surprised to get to speak to a live person that I forgot what I was gonna say (I had been calling everyday for a week without getting any answer). :bonk:

They told me the same ####### about the police certificate, I told them they were wrong, they wouldn't believe me... But at least I got another e-mail address and I forwarded the explanation sent by the consulate in Los Angeles. I WILL have my clearance people, whether you want it or not :hehe: Why do they have to make it such a fight?? They're so sure about their outdated information... How much would it cost to just check and realize they were wrong?? This is making me veeeeery nervous.

Oh and I have an appointment on Tuesday to have my marital name added to my passport :dance:

4/4/12 - Paid AOS bill (in process) and completed DS-261 Agent form / also emailed request to transfer to Beirut, Lebanon for interview
4/5/12 - AOS bill shows paid!
4/6/12 - emailed I-864ez and tax info
4/9/12 - (rec. confirmation email)I-864 and tax documents received by NVC / request to transfer embassy denied
4/30/12 - finally received confirmation email aos/i-864 approved (case was held due to embassy transfer request!!!)
5/2/12 - IV bill appeared online - paid!
5/3/12 - IV bill shows paid!
5/10/12 - FINALLY submitted DS-260 and emailed all supporting documents
5/15/12 - checklist from NVC - needed different marriage certificate
5/20/12 - emailed other marriage certificate
5/21/12 - email received
5/29/12 - CASE COMPLETE! FINALLY!!!

6/4/12 - Interview Scheduled

7/22/12 - INTERVIEW! APPROVED! NO A/P. KEPT HIS PASSPORT

7/28/12 - Visa in hand

7/29/12 - POE Philadelphia!

Removing conditions:

5/5/14 - Mailed form I-751

5/6/14 - Packet received at USCIS Vermont - signed for by A.Scoss

5/6/14 - NOA1 receipt date

5/13/14 - Check Cashed

5/13/14 - Received NOA1 in mail

5/19/14 - Received notice of Biometrics

6/11/14 - Biometrics

12/10/14 - Approval Letter Date!

I'm confused, what is "touched"?

Touched is basically nothing. It just means that your paperwork was in someones hands. Anytime it is handled, they scan in your barcode and voila...touched!

9/21/11 - Married in Syria
11/16/11 - Fedex I-130
11/17/11 - Received at USCIS
11/18/11 - Text received from USCIS - papers received - sent to California for processing
11/21/11 - touched
11/22/11 - check cleared - Received NOA1 form in mail
3/9/12 - Approved!!! NOA2!!! 113 days!
3/15/12 - NOA2 received in mail
