Wooooohooooo!!!!! I am sure it is because you are both in France together. Happy for you guys :)

Merciiiii ! :star:

Yeah I have a feeling that USCs residing abroad get faster processing these days. Several members who got a quick NoA2 lately were in the same case!

Well, we also have a "strong" case: we've lived together for a while and we have plenty of proof for that. So I really don't know what caused it.

Will you make a little review of Hadrien's medical in the French thread?

Lol, Actually I gave him the silent treatment. He really hates that!!!!

Well done girl

He kind of deserved it but I hope communicating is gonna be easier in the future for you!

Congrats!!!! :)

Since my first NOA's went so quick (I was expecting 5 months) and things have started moving, I find I am more anxious now than i was before.

Well I'd be fine if I didn't have a specific problem with the Turkish police record... I have all the other papers, and they're easy to get in France (I received my French police record in 8 days), but I don't know what to do about it. The Turkish consulate in my city never answers the phone or replies to e-mails, except to give me wrong information. I contacted the Turkish consulate in LA, and they explained to me how it worked and that it takes 2 months, but confirmed I must get it from my city.

I thought I was gonna have 5 months to fix this but now it's getting urgent!!

I thought I was gonna have 5 months to fix this but now it's getting urgent!!

It may be another month before your file is in the system at the NVC. If you don't have the police clearance from Turkey by the time the time the IV bill is paid, but your Affidavit of Support (AOS) package is ready for submission (and the AOS bill is paid), submit your AOS package since AOS and IV documents are separate tracks at the NVC. Furthermore, the NVC will give you one year from the date of last communication with you to submit documents.

Thanks for the advice! I sure hope it's not gonna take that long... I think if nothing else works, I can go to Turkey and have it done in a few days.

Yes, I think it goes as fast as DCF (there was still DCF when I was looking last year and it only took 3 months for the entire process). Hadrien and I lived together for 4-5 years too but I went back to the States to get some work experience before Hadrien proposed ~ dang it, if I would have known I would have stayed.

But, no matter how long the wait, it is a great feeling to get passed NOA2  and it's all almost over.

Hadrien went to go see Dr Sallerty or whatever his name is. J'ai cree un post qui s'appelle "Medical in Paris" in the Europe forum. Je l'ai écrit en Anglais je crois. Ne t'inquiètes pas, c'est comme une visite médicale, apparemment. Easy.

YAYYYYYYYY. I'll be on your side on the Earth soon. I can't wait for x-mas in Paris, food, champagne and Husband galore!!!!!

Guys, shocking news: I received the e-mail saying our petition is approved! That's NOA2! In 16 days! :wow:

I freaked out when I saw we had an e-mail, I thought it was an RFE, and I almost passed out when I saw it was the approval!!!

I'm very very happy of course, but I'm also feeling sad for all of the members here who've been waiting since June or July. And worried about the next steps cause I'm having a hard time getting my police clearance from Turkey (I lived there for 5 years).

But wow, it's been faster than I could've hope for!!!

Wow! You are sooo lucky! Congrats!!!

I really hope it's gonna be quick for you, and for everyone here!

I can't help thinking that the fact I'm from a western european country helped fast forward the process... Not fair for the others but when you look at Igor's list, almost all the members who got approved in less than a month lately had the beneficiary from a Visa Waiver Program country.

Can I ask, what countries are the visa waiver program countries?

Guys, shocking news: I received the e-mail saying our petition is approved! That's NOA2! In 16 days! :wow:

I freaked out when I saw we had an e-mail, I thought it was an RFE, and I almost passed out when I saw it was the approval!!!

I'm very very happy of course, but I'm also feeling sad for all of the members here who've been waiting since June or July. And worried about the next steps cause I'm having a hard time getting my police clearance from Turkey (I lived there for 5 years).

But wow, it's been faster than I could've hope for!!!

Congratulations
