You will likely not be able to contact that facility directly. Instead you will need to call USCIS at 1-800-375-5283 and ask if your file is:

A) In the system

B) Which service center was it assigned to

If it is in the system, ask for a receipt number.

Thanks for guidence.

I called USCIC and then they transfered me to customer care and then i talked to any officer ,I told him that my papers reached there on17th november .He replied that its only 11 days ,I need to wait more 15 days.I asked if he let me know that my moneyorder cashed or not so we can solve if there is any issue. He said they will let us know what ever be the status.

Thanks for your help.

I have a question. I don't see anyone who has the same situation as I do. Ok, so I know that my I-130 for spouse, after approval, does not need to wait for visa number. Here's where I get confused. He is in Syria. He has never been to america. So, does he go the Consular Processing route? Will I have to fill out an Adjustment of Status? Or no, because he has never been here? Also, if he does the Consular Processing, which country will he go to? I believe the American Embassy in Syria has been closed down.

And, will I have to do the I-864, affidavit of support? And when would I do that? I am just so confused, and I have not found anyone who is in my situation.

Sorry to sound stupid, but I am just soooooo confused.

You should read the guides about the whole process (in the menu, blue bar on top of the page)

After the USCIS approves the I-130, the case will be transfered to National Visa Center. At this step, you'll need to send the affidavit of support. When all documents are complete with NVC, they send the case to the embassy dealing with visas in Syria and schedule an interview for your husband.

There is no adjustment of status involved with a IR1/CR1 visa, when your husband receives his visa he'll be able to enter the USA and he will receive his green card shortly afterwards.

CR1 Visa

USCIS STAGE: 16 days No expedite request but USC residing abroad
NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete

ROC

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

I'm guessing he would go the Consular Processing route.. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable on that issue will answer you soon.

You will not have to fill out an Adjustment of Status - the intending Immigrant (your spouse) has to file that, once he is in the US to adjust his status from whichever visa that he uses to enter the US. For example if he was your fiance after entering the US on K1 (fiance) visa he would adjust his status from that K1 visa to permanent resident by filing I-485.

I believe the I-864 is to be sent in along with the I-485 (Application to register permanent residence or adjust status). My husband and I did that we filed concurrent though from within the US. Hope that helps a little.. :)
