Hope you had a great time for Thanksgiving! My hubby cooked everything, a delicious Turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes, and we even managed to find cranberries (not easy in France!). I'm not a big fan of pumpkin pie but everything was really really good!

No touches sinces last Monday, no, but well, it was a holiday week-end!

Unfortunately my husband will be back in the States way before the end of the whole process :( I'll have to be strong when he leaves! I don't like my job and I spend 3 hours a day commuting, so going on like that without him is gonna be really really tough.

But let's keep our hopes up!

I understand but you have no choice. My situation is worst than yours. When my wife come in my country it is only for 2 weeks because of her job. She came in July and October 2011. Now she wants to come in march, i do not know if they will give her that vacation. She is usually able to take her vacation in july not before that, only in extreme situation she could be allowed it before. In march she will be 5 months pregnant, i do not know if her doctor will allow her to come. In addition, there are chances that she will not attend the interview with me, because i heard in the US from 6 months, she will not be able to take the plane. That is why i wanted this expedite....

Like so many others, nothing has been done on my case since 11/21. Now that they are back to work after the holiday, I sure hope they are quick! It really is hard to be apart from our loved ones. It can be depressing.

It is really painful as well. I can not spend a day without my wife. I am at work and chatting with her every day until night. it is still not enough. on top of all that, she is pregnant now and i am not here to support her. I would not like she delivers behind me.

They informed me it was still USCIS and that my package was well delivered.Call them with information about your package. Thank you

I wish there was something we could do....like just tell them, HEY! Why did u stop working on my case!!! At least you get to chat all the time. I am having trouble with my cell, my husband gets none of my texts, and I only get his maybe once every 3 days. We talk by phone 1-2 times per week, it is just sooooo expensive. And for him to go online, he has to pay at an internet cafe. And right now, I want him to save his money for coming here.

I couldnt imagine your pain with her being pregnant. I'm sure that is hard. It makes me wonder, why some get moved along super fast and others are so slow.

I do not think you will find an answer to your last question. My wife receive my text plus i have an unlimited international plan to call US and Canada.She only pay 40 dollars a month and i can call unlimited. In addition, she has internet on her phone, and i have a blackberry with internet service on it, we use Yahoo messenger. but it is still not enough. Only her presence counts. When she comes for the 2 weeks vacation with me, the time flies. it is like the time is rushing her to go back to the US and to make me suffer. As a christian, i am not going to look elsewhere because it is a sin according to God's Word. It is really hard, i miss her so bad!

I don't think we should really look so closely at the touches (I know it's easier said than done...). Some people get approved without any touches.

According to the processing times, we'll have to wait until approximately... April. Some of us might get lucky and have fast approval, maybe CSC will get faster and we can hope for 3 to 4 months processing, but it is going to take time anyway. Unfortunately! :crying:

NVC STAGE: 19 days from case # to case complete
03/27/12: interview at Paris embassy - APPROVED
04/12/12: POE San Diego

ROC
01/15/14: sent I-751 application

05/14/14: received card production notification by e-mail, approval date 05/13

Naturalization

02/01/24: N-400 submitted online; Biometrics reuse notice received immediately online; "case being actively reviewed" after a couple hours

02/09/24: received NOA1 by mail

02/10/24: received biometrics reuse notice by mail

04/08/24: interview scheduled for 05/14. Received "We have taken an action in your case" email.

05/14/24: approved at interview, same-day oath ceremony in San Francisco 🥳 🇺🇸

 

Passport

06/10/24: application submitted at post office for passport book and card, paid for expedited processing and shipping

06/24/24: received email notification that passport was approved, then shipped with tracking number

06/25/24: passport received
