Wive has a demanding job at the hospital, she read the hundred questions to me twice on the drive over to her interview. Sometimes I would answer the questions correctly or wrong. Answering wrong on the tougher questions helps her remember.

Stepdaughter is going to college, also demanding. So I typed this out for her. Actually copied and pasted it, simplified the answers, and filled in the correct names for our state and printed it out in two columns.

Again on our drive over, but she was different, be quiet, but only asked me a couple times how to pronounce a couple of names. She studied it for about 45 minutes, took a nap, than again. Both my wife and stepdaughter got answered the first six questions correctly. But believe they forgot it all the next day or most of it. English is their second language for both of them, the civics and English test was a snap for them.

It was that Gitmo 3rd degree like interrogation going over the N-400, in particular those questions at the rear that was the most stressing for both them. Know your N-400 well with good answers that you can explain. That is the hard part.

It took me all but 30 minutes to copy and paste that test off the USCIS site, wanted to delete the multiple answer questions and use the easiest and shortest answers for my stepdaughter. Already knew the names of our state guys, but you can look that up on the internet, who is your congressman, senator, governor, etc. Hit the column window on Word, condensed that to three pages. Printed the first double sided, with an extra sheet.

In the process of doing that, memorized all one hundred answers. Did the same thing for my wife three years ago, but was the old test. We spent more time in trying to find the easiest way to memorized the 13 colonies than the rest of the other 99 questions. But said I would doubt if they would ever ask that question, would be too difficult for her IO to count to 13 and not know if you said the same colony twice or even three times with a verbal test. But if she did ask that question and you blew it, will ask seven instead of six. She was never asked that question.

Wife took the test on a Wednesday, had dinner on the following Friday and was talking about the test. Ha, she couldn't remember the four amendments that deal with voting, the 15th , 19th , 24th and 26th. That's called retentivity or lack of it, but she did know that for her test. Further complications she had, they just came out with the new test, so we didn't know which one she would get. So we studied all 200 questions, the second test is much easier. But the studying was done for both my girls on that long drive over to our field office. Then after its over, can forget about it.

Most important thing is to get a good nights sleep, but easier said than done with that ahead of you.

I was freaking out because I thought I had to study books and books of american history, but after reading all your answers and searching on USCIS website I realize that is not that hard, well, I've saved all links I need on my android and I'm studing between breaks. 100 questions sounds like a deal to me.

And yes, there's some answers that I already know =)
