Wow, Kim Chi is now Dau Que? I am been missing a lot stuff lately.

Anyay, My wife is going back to VN December-1

And, I will be back January-4.

Here is what I find out from a travel Agency in OC California. (This guy is my brother/Anh)

Before Dec-8 Eva = $1280, Cathy = $1200, China/China = $1150

After Dec-9 Eva = $1680, Cathy = $1450, China/China = $1400

Before Jan-10-2012 price is low.

Ater Jan-11-2012 price will be high.

That's some good prices...$1750 is what I would have paid if I booked it in May. I was not certain on the dates and waited til now.

I will now fly out around December 22nd...when the tickets are at their worst! It will be between $2200 to $2500. I have not booked it.

I going to say it will go down if no one flys. I will find out next month.

Dang, prices went up. I went to Vietnam back in September of this year and paid $1050. Two years ago, I paid $860. All trips eva. Keep track of milage programs, i had a Silver card from eva and was able to get an extra luggage bag for free and also access to eva vip lounge.

Wow! I talked to a travel agent and put the ticket on hold for today.

$1350 (with a Visa). I will travel back to Vietnam a week earlier than planned. December 12 and come back the 31st.

Crazy how you travel on December 10 and the price is $400 more. Oh well, it was better than shelling out $2200 for December 22.

I checked on expedia and orbitz today, from MN to Saigon, leave on Dec 9, come back on Jan 6, price is 1266, without visa.

I always use bing.com. It gives you the lowest results than any site out there. I booked a fly going back this Thanks Giving for $1865. I booked this a month a go and today i checked the price went down to $1600. So lesson learned, wait about 1 to 2 weeks prior to your trip then book your fly. There are always open seats. Well, also this depends on the season too.

Also, getting a Visa is easy these days. I'm using a service call Visa on arrival (pick up Visa at the airport). It cost $14 for the application and $25 to pick up the Visa at the airport.

The day of the week that you book also makes a difference. I've seen prices jump up on Friday and then drop back down on a Tuesday/Wednesday.
