Hello friends,

I went to the interview today with my 2 kids, everything went smoothly until final interview...I was so disappointed :( ..In my part everything was ok,but on my petitioner's part yes the consul not satisfied with his tax return and bank statement :bonk: ...He receives close to $2,500 a month but the consul looked on the other side how he can support his children and my children..To make the story short ,he told me to provide another evidence of his income...Im worried and hopeless right now, bcuz they didnt tell me if its denied or what? How much money he spent for medical and non refundable visa fee(for 3 )? Is anyone had the same experience? please share it with me. My fiancee told me to give him a call after the interview, I know he is asleep and yet this is not a good news ,so i decided not to call him and wait when he wakes up.Im depressed, sad, disappointed etc....After submitting the document they asked what is next?Is there any fiancee visa denied yet? Please tell me what will happen next if there's anyone had the same experience like mine at the interview...And congratulations to those who got approved today..I met one of the vj friends at the interview and she got approved  Congrats Mr. Smith ,u told me I might see/meet ur wife there, and yes I met her...Your wife will be there soon... After the long time waiting u finally have her soon. Not like me huhuhu...

They are not denied it. They are asking for more evidence of support.

Provide the additional evidence the CO is asking for.

Hi there! I hope by this time you calm down already. I know how you feel, but you need to focus on what the Consul needs for additional evidence of financial support. Did you get 221g form ? I guess you aren't denied. Please make sure that your Fiance has enough income / financial resources to support you & him as well as all other dependents. Your Fiance has to work out on this requirement. Hopefully things work out for you. God bless & take care.

I'm not sure if USEM accepts co-sponsor. Maybe you can check out on this. Anyway, don't worry I'm sure other VJs will come out and help you on this. I just don't have the proper link of the 125% poverty income requirement so it will guide you properly on how much income is needed for all of you and his dependents.

You bet, I understand you're disappointed. You are not denied based on what you presented here, provide the income information the CO requested.

Good luck.

Hi there trulyinlove...sorry about the result of your interview. I do understand and feel the disappointment you are going through. I just want to ask, did you not check the income requirement before filing for the k1 & k2? With me and my fiance, I was the one who really did the research and checked his ITR if we can make it. Well, my fiances income is way above what is required but still, I decided to let my children follow at a later time ( hopefully before the k2 visa expire ) . I hope and pray to get a stable job in the US. That is to be able to help out with the expenses and not to let my fiance shoulder all the responsibility. I know how difficult it is to be away with my children, but it will be more difficult not just for me but for them if they will travel along with me only to find out my fiances income could hardly make it to meet our basic needs. Atleast here in the Philippines, I have my parents and my siblings taking care of them, while I am still trying to adjust and establish a career to make their stay in the US be secured. You may wonder why after all I said my fiance's ITR is way above poverty guideline requirement, why e afraid of bringing my children. Well, I tried to analyze the in and out of the income of my fiance...the ITR just shows the how much my fiance earns annual but not how much out of that income is spent and how much is saved. I love my kids so much and I do love m fiance too. Right now, the help I can give my kids and my fiance is making a right decision to help keep the balance.

I am not sure if it mabe too late or if maybe your fiance still have assets to include. If you do, well and good. If not, I should think you should think it over if bringing the kids at a minimal income of your fiance is the best decision.

I understand your suggested idea for me and my children, but do u think if we call the embassy and let them know that my children will join to follow which i already checked that they will accompany me ,the embassy will approve the visa? Eventhough the consul already asked for one document from my fiancee to be submitted before the petition expire? I wanna know if there is same situation like mine that after submitting the documents they got approved? Im still wondering and hanging ,thinking about my visa whether it get denied or approved. Anyway your suggestions are very much appreciated...Thank u very much Dean_De...God bless

don't worry your 221g is just a letter saying their decision will wait based on your ability to provide another source of income if it means he has a second job assets or co sponsor. They are waiting for your documentation for that.. its def not a denial just rather a wait until we are satisfied with his income.

Get those documents together as soon as possible and submit them Then it takes a few weeks for review and putting them with your case and then they can make their decision

If they were going to deny you they would have done so already..

Wish you best of luck

Ok, Sis! btw, did you submit recent paystubs? I'm just trying to analyze, because you mentioned about "evidence of sustained current income". Submitting current paystubs (2011) might be of help. I remember my Fiance gave me current paystubs (2011) from his 2 employers aside from the 3-year tax returns and W2. Hopefully this helps.:) I also have 2 kids with me during interview but I got approved. Anyway, I hope you could still work it out. Don't lose hope, just keep focus on what is being asked. I am not sure if you could still opt not to bring your kids immediately or follow-to-join within one year. But, it is best to ask USEM so you would be properly guided. I hope to hear positive feedback then. God bless you and your kids. :)
