I don't want to repeat something which has seemingly been beating to death, but I'm very confused. My fiance got his 3025 at Knightsbridge in London and he was all fine except one MMR. He did not get it there, but they said that all he needed was to get it at his GP and he would be fine for AOS. Is this true or not? I had always heard you needed to transfer to the 693 by a civil surgeon. I don't want to take someone's word for it in London and then get into a mess with USCIS. Please advise.

If he is missing a shot then he needs to get it and then have them all transcribed to I-693.

I didn't get a civil surgeon to transcribe mine. I sent what the consulate gave me as a record, and I sent a copy of the vaccination paperwork my own doc gave me for the tetanus shot I needed.

After the wedding and for AOS I sent what I had an did not get a RFE. Other people did get a RFE for not having the record transcribed, so I think that is where some of the confusion creeps in.

At the time I was less bothered by getting an RFE. I figured as we were together, instead of in separate countries, I would worry about that if it happened.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

So the consensus is that it depends on which officer happens to get your file? Sometimes it's fine, other times not, and this is random. That is what I am getting from these posts on VJ.
