Today i have got email say they ordered my new card!

Senators John Kerry and Scott brown haven't even responded back aside from an automated e-mail like USCIS have. Even that says do not reply lol. hey all...sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you about my status, but there wasn't too much to tell with all the waiting going on. We sent a *weak* RFE back end of Oct. -beginning of Nov. *Sorry..can't quite remember the dates*....and waited...again.

In my email I read...

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On December 4, 2012, we ordered production of your new card..........WHOOO HOOOOOOO No interview which is what I was expecting!! And now I just read...

The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on December 6, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days.

Talk about stress!!!!! I had a little over 2 months on my current status, and then....well, I don't want to think about it.

I am now taking a break. I will probably apply for citizenship in a couple years or so. For sure well before the 10 year mark is up

OK it's official. We recieved multiple e-mails yesterday morning stating that my wife's card was ordered and we should receive it within 30 days but everyone that received their card knows that already. My Congressman's office e-mailed me an hour later informing me of the same e-mail they received in reference to my wife's case file and card production. So it took all of 13 months, lets hope the card comes now. N-400 Citizenship next and hoping it will go a lot smoother. Thanks to everyone for the support and allowing me to vent my frustrations here and we will make an announcement when we actually have the card in hand.

Yes, on last monday, I broke the silence and called 1-800. she made an serice request and then i was told to wait until Dec 25. Yesterday, I emailed congresswoman. Let's see,

what's coming next. This is not even funny that USCIS can be that pain in the neck.

After 12 months of this painful wait, I called the customer service, they took my info and informed me that you will hear something before December 25, on December 19 I got a letter saying this

Based on your inquiry, we have reviewed the status of your case and found it remains under active examination. Thus office acknowledges the completionof your case is being outside normal processing time and realizes the inconvenience it may cause. The delay has been necessary in order to ensure the thorough processing of your case and provide you with the best possible service. And blah blah blah.

Has anyone received such letter after inquiring of their case calling to customer service. It is going to be exact 13 months on December 31st but nothing happened except this bs from them.
