I replied on Sep.14....

And USCIS received on Sep. 17......

So far I still don't hear anything from them........ :( ......

APPROVED!!! My wife got a text message at 9:40 pm (CDT) informing us the case status was updated. Logged in to the USCIS site and saw the approval message. It only took almost a year, but it finally happened. I had no idea when I filed back in November of '11 that the ROC was going to be almost as stressful as the original CR-1 filing. Now... I get to fill out the N-400.

Good luck to everyone still waiting. Ours is the second approval in two days, so maybe the VSC is back on the November cases.

2nd approval in 2 days? there really putting in the overtime at vermont these days.

yeah and they received my rfe in august..

Finally after long wait upon approval, the USPS picked up the card on Oct 17th. I was approved on Sep 28th. I called USCIS and got the tracking number for the mail.

For those who are waiting for long, its time to get your congressman involved. Good Luck!

I have a question. We received an RFE in September. We responded and our information was accepted at VSC on September 24th. We have not heard anything since then and the on line system still states an initial review. Today I called USCIS to see if I could receive an update. They advised me that they would not give me any information regarding the application because my husband was not present. As the petitioner, wouldn't they be able to give me information regarding the application? Is four weeks too soon to be expecting a reply on an RFE? I guess that was two questions. Good luck to all those still waiting and congrats to those who have received!

Sorry to hear about that. It really is unacceptable that they're working January '12 cases before handling responses to RFEs on November '11applications. I still can't get over the rate of RFEs for November '11. VERY high! Hope you hear something soon, though.

November 18th 2011 they recieved my wife's application and my money and we never heard nothing since. Called them numerous times now and keep being told to wait till November 18th 2012 and we will have a decision at that time. It's beyond rediculous at this point.
