Hi Guys,

I have an update on my case. I opened a SR on Mon 17th Sep. I got a letter from local office saying that my case is delayed because they are scheduling a second interview .

This is out of blue and I am shocked , as I submitted a lot of evidence like:

1. Lease Agreements

2. Tax transcript joint filed 2 years

3. A lot of Picture

4. Medical, Auto, dental and rental insurance copies from last 2 years

5. Joint Banks statements from saving and checking for last 6 months with lot of transactions.

6. Mexico criuse trip pictures and reciepts.

7. Both Driver license showing same address.

8. Affidavits of 2 citizen friends attesting to the marriage.

We are from the same country and same age. I am surprised why they need a second interview?

Sometimes they do it for quality assurance purposes. So don't worry.

I called USCIS today and was informed that my case was approved on 9/20 !

Really don't know abt this situation....

But don't worry so much....

Relax and prepare for the interview then..

Try to collect as much evidence as u have, u will get it approved on THE day.

Still no news guys, my NOA is 11/28/2011 and biometric taken on 12/04/2011 i did not hear anything from uscis yet..no online status update, no notifications,no rfe, nothing. we are planning to move to L.A and im gonna chance my job but i can't, this waiting game tied my hands and life up.

Congratulations to all the Vermont filers who have gotten their approval recently. We submitted our RFE last week (recieved by Vermont on 9/24)hopefully we will get our approval and move forward. It is so good to have this community and know that we are not alone in this "journey". Good luck to all.

I filed for the roc in November 2011. I received a RFE about 6 weeks ago and sent it back within a week. They have had the RFE for about 5 weeks and ive had no letter or anything for that matter suggesting they have received the RFE.

My case status online still says on November 14th we received your... ect.

Should i call the center and ask whats going on? Im SOOOO over this bs!

Congratulations!! You said you were moving, did you get the card forwarded to your new address??

Please confirm, I just want to know for sure if USPS forwards USCIS mails.

We got the card the very last day before mail forwarding kicked in. However, the envelope did say "Return Service Requested" as it was a standard USPS priority mail envelope exactly like this one (including contents):

So....that leaves me confused as I was under the impression that they were going to remove that "Return Service Requested" requirement. That said, if you have filed a forwarding address form with the local post office, they may forward it - as they want a valid address. I cannot guarantee they though. We'll be doing the online AR-11 with USCIS this weekend.

Don't worry too much. It took them 6 weeks to approve my response for RFE.

They don't send out letter to acknowlege that they received the RFE response.

I-751 Application (VSC)

11/07/2011 sent out I-751 application package

11/09/2011 Receipts from USCIS

11/15/2011 notice for biometrics

12/07/2011 Biometrics appointment

08/01/2012 Received RFE

08/08/2012 Responed to RFE

09/20/2012 Approved!!!
