yes, that's exactly what we are going to do. It's me who is in a rush to get it fixed. But my husband is like,"why are you in a rush?". Because i want it to be over! I know it doesn't matter i have all the papers now, but i don't know. I lost peace of mind! Sometimes i even have dreams about it..

10-13-2011: Received Reminder Letter

11-21-2011: Sent my ROC via USPS Express Mail

11-22-2011: Package received at 10:52AM by INS EXPRESS MAIL and signed by Mario Guerrero

11-22-2011: NOA Receipt Date

11-25-2011: Check Cashed!

11-28-2011: NOA Arrived

12-13-2011: Received Biometrics Letter, dated 12-08-11

01-04-2012: Biometrics Appointment, 8am

06-21-2012: Received an Approval Email from the USCIS.

06-22-2012: Received the Decision Letter dated on 06-19-2012

We had our interview on 7/11 and were approved. The officer didn't really understand why our case was transferred to the local office, and apologized, saying that the people who do the initial review of the case aren't even government employees, they're 3rd party contractors. Sachie's 2 year green card was confiscated pending receipt of the 10 year card. We made an InfoPass appointment for the next day and went in and got a 6 month I-551 stamp in her passport so she can still re-enter the U.S. The person who gave us the stamp mentioned that we should have just asked the officer we talked to on the previous day and he would have probably given her the stamp.

Hello everyone,

I've been following this forum for a while now. I think it's a very useful resource for the public. Your individual stories serve as inspiration to thousands out there who are going through similar circumstances like you. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who provided their timelines and keep it updated as their case progresses. You wouldn't know how many people you've helped just by doing that.

That is why I've decided to come out of the shadows and add my case. Here are my details:

  • I mailed my ROC package to VSC on 10/31/11 (but I still consider myself a November filer as my NOA date falls in November)
  • VSC sent me a NOA with a receipt date of 11/04/11
  • After that, VSC sent me a Biometrics Appointment letter with a notice date of 11/09/11
  • My Biometrics Appointment was scheduled for 11/25/11 at 11:00 a.m.
  • Been a pro-active smarty-pants, I went in for early Biometrics and had it done on 11/15/11 instead
  • Since then, I have heard nothing more from them.

Please add me to the Vermont torture list. :crying:
