I-751 November 2011 Filers

Hello everyone! I'm new here. Pls, add me to the timeline for California Service Center.Filing date (NOA i guess) 11/28/2011, Biometrics 02/16/2012 (early walk-in 02/13/2012) and still waiting. :wow:

I also would like to add that until recently our case couldn't be found online. My lawyer told me that it's ok and it doesn't really matter if it shows anything or not.I checked today and it shows my case is under "initial review" and it was last "touched" (updated) 04/30/12. Hehe.

And we never received fingerprint appointment. So i called them and they send it again. Otherwise i would have missed it! It's a good thing i called! I hear some ppl never received their RFE's and their cases were cancelled and THAT notice they received.The same thing with fingerprints notice. It's funny how fingerprints and rfe's get lost in the mail, but these letters saying that your case was cancelled cuz you didnt show up for your appointment always gets delivered. It's going to be 6 months on May,28. I'm calling them again

Good luck to all of you. California better get it done asap. LOL. As for Vermont processing times.... :wacko: :wacko: :wacko:

P.S. My lawyer told me that CSC is verrrrrrrry slow now. After i got my fingerprints done (02/13/12) my lawyer told me to wait 5 more months. He said maybe by July. Can you imagine? I'm sure all November filers are thinking that we will get it done this months, but my lawyer said late June-July. Ugh. :wow:

Sorry about the rfe. But I am sure after you send it, they will give you an approval.

Unfortunately I have received an RFE dated on 5/3 requesting more evidence on financial records. I have opened a separate thread titled "Financial Records" discussing my case.

Where can you find the last touched date?

If you look online at USCIS.gov, just look at the date in the "Last Updated" column. This was the day your file was officially "touched". For our ROC, I am still seeing November 26, 2001. This just means they haven't had a reason to scan our number/application since November.

When we applied for the fiance visa, our file was "touched" several times before approval, and then again the day before our approval was mailed out. Our AOS was touched when they mailed out an RFE, and then again when it was approved. I would just take the "touch", IF it happens with a grain of salt and think "Oh, they are looking at my file".

Normally, if it's still marked "initial review" then they haven't approved it yet. But sometimes things aren't all up-to-date on the website.

My lawyer said,"You are right. The code does not work. That happens some times. Don't worry about it. That is their mistake. But I would put no further effort into it since the most you gain from monitoring it is finding out about the approval 2 or 3 days before you get it in the mail." I was worried because even after bio appointment it still said "your case cannot be found online". :bonk:

Orangenation,i really don't like what they are doing to you. I looked through the forum and CSC normally would get it done within 6 months. I guess not anymore. :angry: It's going to be 6 months for me in 2 weeks. I have a feeling nothing is happening within this time. We all have to "chill" somehow and just wait. My lawyer is pretty sure they are going to finish my case by July....

As for the last "touched" date of your case...Go check the status of your case at uscis.gov,then sign in or creat your account and then add your case to your portfolio.

Hello everyone, please add us to the list.

Received approval letter on May 09, 2012 that stated the approval was made on May 04, 2012. The letter came from Nebraska and not the CSC center. NOA date 11/15/2011 and biometrics 12/28/2011.

I felt so relieved when I read the letter and I can now finally sleep peacefully. Now we just have to wait for the actual card which based on other posts will probably take a while to get here. Nevertheless, it does feel great to know that this is almost over!!!

To everyone still waiting and to those who filled at Vermont, I hope that approvals come quick and bring comfort in your lives.
