We have the same local office, :thumbs: though I live an hour and a half from Sacramento. Mine was signed by Sac too, but sent from Laguna Niguel according to the post mark.

Also, on a side note, online ma case is still in "not found" status. That's what my WAC number always showed.

p.s. I hope the other 64% receive an approval this week ! Good luck to everyone!

There are two different case numbers both start with WAC.

for me, one number is can not be found, and the other one shows initial review.

The number on your Bio letter is the one that works!

Hi all!

I got a letter from USCIS today saying that my request has been approved :dance:

the weird thing though is that it was sent from Nebraska (I belong to California service center) and the letter is not on an official paper (no watermarks, just a white sheet of paper). Also my status online has not changed, it's still on Initial review...Is it ok?

Congrats! :thumbs: For some reason (USCIS computer problems perhaps) all of us (i've seen) who have been approved in the last 2 weeks have found out by mail with no online updates, so you're in good company. :blush: I was approved on April 10th and my online status still says initial review. Actually so does my I-130 which was approved over two years ago and others too. They're not always the best at updating things online. :blush:

While my approval letter came from CSC on watermarked paper others have receieved theres on regular paper from Nebraska.

Another white-paper-from-Nebraska approval here! At first I was worried it might be a RFE late in the process. As my jittery hands hastily opened the envelope, I could immediately see and feel the cheap and thin paper. Guessing that approvals come on the nice letterhead stock that I had received in past communications, I feared the worst. :wacko: Thankfully, everything's in order.

Date of decision: 4/19/2012

Date received: 4/23/2012 (today)

I wish everyone else a speedy decision. At least for the CSC people. With VSC, we all know that won't happen. Maybe VSC should outsource some of their files to Nebraska to speed up the process.

By the by, I had the same difficulties with the online status update others have encountered also. None of my numbers worked with the online tool. My case could never be found. For those who are having this issue and are still waiting for their approval: Don't worry. The online tool is absolutely meaningless.

When I was opening my envelope, we were in the car going home with my husband. I was like: Ok, if that's an RFE, I have new bank statements, bills and letters to show them, so I am fully prepared Still can't believe we didn't have an interview neither for AOS not for ROC. Sooo happy!
