Thank you :unsure: sometimes I am curious especially before I always be able to see the online status (K-1 and AOS). Maybe this one I will have to sit and relax for awhile :yes:

Don't worry too much. When I applied for my 2-yr Green card in 2009, the same thing happened to me.

When i entered the receipt number ,it always said "error".

I had to call the 800 number to check my status.

4/14/2009: Visa in hand

5/17/2009: POE (Yaaaay!!)

AOS

9/8/2009: Sent I-765, I-485

12/7/2009: Interview

2/27/2010: GC in hands!! Thanks to GOD!!

ROC

11/21/2011: Sent I-751

11/23/2011: Package received

11/28/2011: Check cashed

11/23/2011: NOA dated

12/1/2011 : NOA received

1/03/2012 : Called USCIS for bio letter

1/16/2012 : Biometrics Notice Date

1/21/2012 : Biometrics Letter

2/13/2012 : Biometrics Appointment

4/27/2012 : Decision of Date

5/3/2012 : Notice of Approval

Aside from the 4 of us who have been approved, EVERYONE is in the same position as you. It's perfectly normal not to hear anything for months and months. Basically there's a backlog of applications

As long as he travels with the expired GC and the NOA1, he should be absolutely fine.

Make sure it is the ORIGINAL NOA1 though - not a photocopy.

The only problem I've read about on here, involved an LPR spouse who traveled back to Brazil - but on the return trip, the airline refused to carry her back as she only had a photocopy of the NOA1. Her USC husband (who stayed in the States during her trip) insisted that she leave the original at home for "safekeeping", so she only had a photocopy with her.

Basically she was able to make the first return leg from Brazil to Peru - but was denied boarding for the connecting flight to the U.S. - and sent back to Brazil.

He then had to FEDEX her the original NOA1, and she had to pay for a brand new flight.

I remember that post. Scary! We plan to take the original. I just wish he had recieved the GC before the trip. Oh well.

Done with biometrics on 13th. But I still couldn't put my # for online status. Should I write with wac or without? I kept doing both but it kept on saying error.

Call the 800 # .... the same thing happened to me! You do enter the WAC letters too :)

FYI, but also August CSC filer's approval rate is still 64% and 2 members got RFE 2 weeks ago...:whistle:

Yes and as of now the CSC September filers are at 57.47% (19 out of 33). Vermont filers are in a far worse situation. Our local office has not had an officer staffing it for over six months and the local gal there who does the Biometrics says they can't find anyone to take the job. She told us people are being told they must wait a year for an interview. From here it looks like USCIS is in a mess. We will be travelling back to the Philippines third week of May and I doubt my wife will have her green card by then.

Unless the CSC is slowing down even more, we should see at least one approval announced today or by Monday the latest. VSC folks are unfortunately screwed as there is clearly a problem there. But CSC is about 75% complete within the six month group which right now are the September filers and 50% within five month filers. I did a search for reasons why the VSC is so slow and found nothing. Oh well, as my Filipina wife might say, bahala na.
