Hi guys I got approval letter on spot after interview but my online status changed after a week , I thinks takes a while

Can I ask more about the interview and questions asked? Did the IO told you why you're called for an interview?

Interview question we're very simple 1) like wife full name date of birth where she works what's her job title 2) who lives with you what's your full address which school ur step son goes to how he go to school what time he comes back 3) where you go for vacation did u meet wife family

Just small simple question of general life nothing like 485 , we did took more recent bank statements and bills

Our first 485 interview was bad experience I think that's the reason they called us

First of all and most importantly - congratulations popthecork! :)

Mine still hasn't updated either.

I wouldn't worry about it, for some people it updated when they received their RFE, for most it doesn't.

Mine hasn't changed since I filed and I had an RFE and have had my approval letter.

I don't think the online status matters.

Nov 14, 2012 Case updated online to say biometrics apt. notice is on its way!

Nov 16, 2012 Received NOA & biometrics apt. letter

Nov 28, 2012 Biometrics apt.

Jan 4, 2013 In line for interview!

Jan 5, 2013 Scheduled for interview!

Jan 10, 2013 Received interview letter

Jan 19, 2013 Received yellow letter dated 1/16 asking me to bring more passport pics to the interview

Mar 8, 2013 Got an online update - oath scheduled!

Yep, some of us were unlucky with RFEs but most were sadly just unlucky to file at VSC.

Looks like things are finally moving, a few of us having finally been approved recently.

A long wait but finally approve .

Response for Ref received by VC on Oct 01 and I got approve on Nov 1 . Status changed already in the web and my card is in the way :-)

Thanks so much to all of the ones who posted theirs experiences , they are extremely helpful for me ...

Date of I-751 = The Date you sent your application

NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter

Biometrics = The Date of your biometrics appointment

Approved = The Date your case was approved

Your turn? I am a November filer also and never got anything at all! No RFE, No Approval, No Denial, NOTHING AT ALL, besides headaches and stress of course.

I feel your pain. The problem is.. What to do? This system sucks and there is, from what i can tell nothing we can do about it. Call, email, contact officials, get an attorney.. It all does nothing..

The only thing i think you can do is file for your n400.

Yep, some of us were unlucky with RFEs but most were sadly just unlucky to file at VSC.

Looks like things are finally moving, a few of us having finally been approved recently.

I know no one whoever is still on the waiting list wud be able to relax. But do u have to talk so sharp?

U r not the only Nov filer. U r not the only one whoz waiting here.

No matter under what kind of scenario, we r all waiting here.

Nobody knows getting a RFE is better than getting nothing or not.

I am not asking u when shud be my turn. U don't have to be so aggressive with me either.
