hey folks i just to ask everyone this question since everyone has been reading on VJ and gaining sufficient experience how to get ourselves well equipped before we reach the day of interview my question is what could be the possibilities on K-1 Visa approval when you send Proof of engagements and I-134 AOS with packet 3.5 what i believe or deemed so far these are utmost significant Proofs would lead you to Approval do you think having gotten these documents with packet 3.5 they make up their minds whether to Approve this person or not just an idea or advice needed Thank you

also i have my interview for k-1 on 28 November my fiance is coming to Pakistan to Accompany me on the day of interview do you think cos of her presence at the embassy could bring some impact on my Approval meaning more chances to be Approved your advice will be appreciated Thanks

Posted (edited)

Presence of fiancee does help in some countries better than in others. Some countries are not even allowing fiancee at the embassy.

I will give you one hint. When you come to the interview the CO already knows whether they will approve you or not. They have guidelines they are following, as well as number of visas to be approved. You are from one of the countries with high fraud rate and a lot of time they will put cases to the AP, after the interview.

As long as you got strong evidence of your relationship and interview well you should be just fine. Proove of engagement alone will not be sufficient you need to show evidence of day-to-day communication between each other. Like phone logs, skype logs, chat logs, emails, etc... Showing that you are in the relationship. So make sure you have all of that. Really important to present evidence of ongoing relationship.

AP btw is run for many different things, missing documents, extra documents asked for, name checks etc... so hope for the best

I would count on AP due to the country you are from. AP is now standard measure in any MENA country. I wish you good luck for a sucessful interview.

Not always... if you look at our portal you will see that there are those that go without having AP... most are women but some are men only waiting for visa for a week or two as ISL does not issue Visa same day they always send it courier..

but agreed best of luck for interview...

Mohsin,

I also plan to attend the interview with my fiance. He has asked that I come and be with him. I don't think this will have any impact (Besides the fact that I took the extra step and expense to be there) on their decision BUT I will be there with him in case there are any questions that need to be answered from my side.

Keep in mind that even though the Embassy will allow you to go with them, your finace will probably not be allowed in the actual interview with you. She'll probably be asked to wait outside for you. Atleast that is my understanding.

It sounds like you have really done your research and have all the information that is required for evidence and support. I wish you all the best of luck and am eagerly waiting to hear about your experience as there aren't many MEN who go thru the K-1 Visa process in Pakistan so what in regards to AP will happen is very curious to me.

Take Good Care of yourself,

Kim

hello Kim yes i'm aware that you plan on accompanying your fiance that is indeed something which will help your fiance to give him some confidence and Mentally Support because its the time when everyone becomes nervous think what's going to be the outcome after interview no matter presence of the fiancee won't make much of a difference but certainly instead of going alone its rather batter to accompanying with fiance or fiancee even though much expenses to cover up tickets and hotel stay yes Kim my fiancee also knows me too you plan to visit usman with him on the day of interview you are right i don't see alot of men going K-1 Visas Most going for CR-1 Lately someone got Approved on the spot he was confident enough and he had enough proof i believe if you are confident witty to the questions u r asked and have sufficient proofs to show the consular it shouldn't be a problem to leave inshallah I Hope to Allah Your fiance will get Approved and i also want to wish your fiance Adeel Abbas to come outta AP soon inshallah just pray without prayer we human being are nothing Thanks to your replies
