CRBA (Consular Report of Birth Abroad), Ukraine

I am a US citizen, my wife is currently a green-card holder. Currently my wife is pregnant and my mother's health is weak - so it is very likely that my wife and I will have to relocate back to Ukraine for an extended period of time to take care of my mother. As a result, our baby will be born in Ukraine.

I want to make sure that the Ukrainian paperwork is done correctly, so there will be no problems when applying for the CRBA/passport documents.

1) I assume that the child's birth certificate, issued by Ukrainian authorities, will contain my name spelled in Cyrillic - is it going to be a problem? (how will the consulate match me with that name)

2) On the birth certificate there is a "ethnicity" information about the parent. Can it say "Ukrainian" (since this is my ethnicity), or does it has to be "USA"?

If anyone had done this already, please share your experience.

Don't you think I read this page before starting this tread? I have specific questions about the name transliteration and ethnicity, which are not even mentioned on that page.
