Congrats!! and do not forget to put you case complete at NVC in your timeline on your profile.

I'm actually not sure WHEN my case was completed. Possible some time around October 22 (operator said that our file wasn't in the system yet, please allow 20 days... blah, blah...)

I sent an email to NVCinquiry@state.gov on October 24th, asking if they could tell me anything about my case status?

I received a reply on October 27th "Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant, petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview."

So, I guess I should put "CC" October 27th...

Your interview date will be assigned soon nickky! ;) You still have this week until next week then ( I guess that's the "nice" news the operator's pertaining to). Hopefully before next week ends, you'll be able to get it! But I pray it'll be sooner than that (after all, you're all included in my daily devotions).

Thanks a lot for the support  !

Do you mean they stopped giving interviews for December regarding Canada, or altogether????

They have not stopped yet, but they will finish it up by the end of next week. According to what that guy from the NVC told me.

I'm still hoping to have my interview before Christmas! (It's not so hectic - what I've understood - in Finland, so maybe there is still a chance?)

Is there a consulate in Finland? I think you should be fine with the date before Christmas, on in December at all, guessing that your consulate is not overloaded like the one in Montreal.

But that is of course that our case in NVC moves smoothly and we don't get any RFEs!!!

I still hope Canada could still have interview dates open for December though!!!!!!

Thank you , I hope so too.

The operator will only see info on your packages once it's landed on the desk of a reviewing officer. And this usually takes between a week or two.

Just keep calling every single day and asking if there's any update on your case. Good luck.

thank you :)

While you're waiting, it'd be appreciated by all members if you filled in your timeline. You're missing a lot of NVC dates.
