This was my day!!!! soooo I got chosen for a new job and I have my interview date!!! jan 9th!!! I am just super giddy and am almost shaking with nerves lol, now I have to see whats up with the new job before I do take it, If not then I will be traveling to mexico to travel with my husband to juarez in Jan. I'm just a bundle of nerves right now!!

Thanks. Long time coming, but so worth the happiness I heard in my husband's voice this morning. I think my dad was more excited then both of us, if that is possible.

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

Do we need to wait for I 864 approval to send Packet IV documents?

No

You should pay AOS fee and sent 864 next day

then you should pay IV fee and next day send 230

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Nope. The only thing you have to wait on before sending the IV documents is for the IV bill to appear as PAID in the payment portal.

The AOS and IV are different tracks.

Congrats on all recent interview date issued.

I getting more and more PO'd every time I call NVC. First they were waiting on final review. Then they were going to send a NVC checklist(RFE?). Now they waiting to hear from embassy for available date. Then they were waiting on civil docs which were already in their hands? They have more stories than Dr. Seuss and it's annoying.

Thank you Saylin. then how do i know whether NVC got my I 864. today i put a call , operator told like, once they get the I 864, they will take around two weeks to put the information in system. i did not tell anything like they got it or not.

Packet IV fee is paid and showing PAID
