Hi Saylin,

Planning to send i 864 packet on monday. do we need to write NVC case number on the top of I 864 form and all tax transcrit copies.

Yes, I'd suggest writing the case number on all the pages, except the cover sheet and cover letter.

This is done in case someone loses a paper. It's much easier to hook it back up to the package if the case number is written on it.

Not able to select packet IV fee. seems like the checkbox is disabled for me. I am using IE 8.

Any solution pls

What does it say next to the IV fee?

You probably have to wait some more. It does take a couple of days.

I had the same problem. It means that your IV payment has not been completely generated. Try to send a polite e-mail to NVC (like I did) or to call them asking to enable that payment. I think I've done both, and it actually worked after I had placed a call to them.

Good luck !

Any idea why my hubby can't pay the I-864 fee? Is it because it's weekend??

When he logs in to the online payment portal it says:

Are you hinting at something, Nickky???

Allegra, I like you :D! I know where are you coming from (just recalled that), but nop, I'm not that type of person. I've come across with some other posts on other threads.

Hey, so change of plans, not going on honeymoon. Too little time and work to be done...only have time for Paris.

What do you mean? Keep practicing French  ? But the official language at all US consulates is English :P.

We'll go later....so..... I'll be waiting for your review with impatience on the 8th.

Yeah, next week I'm completely preparing for the trip to Canada and hope not to get stuck on highways due to the beginning of winter. Have to print out some Skype calls and that's basically it. The files folder is sorted by docs - originals and copies. Now we both trying to schedule our trip to Montreal from Toronto - my wife's gotten some relatives there. I did some Googling and got shocked - all the streets in French (Allegra, I wish you were there with us ). Well, we'll work it out.

I've never even heard of that company! laughing.gif My husband's with Progressive.

Oh well, guess you won't have that proof :P

Mmkay, I think I have another problem. :crying: I won't be able to receive hubby's ITRs, W2s, employment letter and pay stubs (all original papers) in time before the interview (he's kinda worried coz the PI postal system sucks and these papers will contain confidential information about him - e.g. his US SSN). He opted using LBC (PI based courier - he used this courier before and his package was delivered safely) rather than FedEx and DHL. Is it okay if he scans everything then I print them out if the package will not make it in time?

Usually getting this message at this time in the process means that the bill will be invoiced soon. Just keep checking back and the bill should be invoiced.

Yeah, I'd definitely scan the documents and email them in case the documents don't make it in time.
